It's hard to believe this was two separate pieces originally. GREAT work on blending and making them look natural - and the background isn't half bad either.

ah i'm super late even though i even when on your up to tell you to make something i absolutely love your painting style, always have--its unique yet really composed beautifully with tone and mood and texture and...ahh i could just go on and on the only suggest i have which im sure people have said already is that you put more details into lulu's eyes and get rid of the artifacts around his hair, the other messy parts fit nicely but i just feel this part was a little bit too much. but of course fav and congrats on the highlight!!! >D

They both look so grand, with the detailed design on the clothing. I think your idea with replacing the character is very good, a new way to look at the characters, and the artworks themselves. Breath-taking detail! Indeed it IS excellent craftsmanship, not only is it beautifully drawn but the composition is good, the characters draw your eyes to the center, down and through the image. The colours work so nicely together. And the characters are compatible too. You can tell they have a deep connection by the way they are looking at one another. Whether they be rivals or lovers or friends. Gorgeous atmosphere, and the painting is superb, and has a soft, but bold water color feel to it.
