Really pretty I love the princess ai manga.

First of all, the colors look incredibly lovely in this wall; it sort of reminds of an afternoon sunset, with the soft light and the darkening sky. I like the contrast between the smooth skin and the subtly texturized apparel. The texture gives the clothes sustenance, while the flawless skin complements the glowing light. However, I don't particularly like the texturized background, especially in the upper left corner. It reminds me of the product of a bad scan or something. Also, whenever I look at the picture, even if I try to focus on the girl, my eye keeps getting drawn to that corner--perhaps it might help if you lightened it? I know it's supposed to get progressively darker, but I think it's a little too dark compared to the rest of the wall.

anyways i started this way back when i was still in england and its been 70% done since then. finally decided to go the extra mile and finish it.

this started as an exercise in generic vectoring--trying to see how i could play with colors to get even a generic vector to really shine. well my goal was partly accomplished--the vector is simplistic albeit not your normal two-tone kind of stuff. it was good practice though since with these kind of vectors the way your shapes look are really the main focus.

the color scheme was originally inspired by south american artists (frida kahlo) and i used alot of michiko to hatchin scans to look at every now and then--mainly its defined by the use of lots of cyans and reds. but well colors never come out the way i intend them to :3. at least you know where the inspiration came from XD.
