I dont watch hentai since i am too busy to find a good anime series to watch. But i can see how some people like it but from reading the articles above some of it seems quite hard core....what are tentacles should i dare ask?

All in all sex does sell, and i stay away from the hentai made from anime series i enjoyed since it will spoil how much i enjoyed that series. :)

I think some bondage/other stuff is incredibly more disturbing. I agree with "Basara". after all is sometimes is not the image wich you can find erotic, but more about the concept it gives.

I have a girl friend, I do have a sexual life, and I enjoy time to time reading (anime are not as interresting...) a good hentai manga... I'm not a psycho I'm not a freack or a maniac...... But when I read answers like Pretty's or ~neonholic's, I say you too should see a doctor... what about freedom and open mind, you freaky mormons!

Well all I can say about this genre is that some artist director or the ones that make this doesnt give any importance to the storyline which is bad because the show will be pointless consecutively useless.. There should be a storyline that would bring life to the show not all this and this and those wherein everything goes round and round. There should be also a climax wherein the peak of the story comes. And also the creators should be more practical and not very violent or rough especially those that makes you disgusted or go "WHA" O_O Something that is nice and sweet would do lol hahaha

And about the genre, Well I dont make it a big deal wherein its bad or good and I dont care hahaha ^^ And mind you that there are no sick people and such who watches this genre. To be thinkin that THE REAL ones are more sick than this!! Think about it or let us say so be it!

I watched Words worth.. I thought it was quite good.. because it has a not bad story line.. and its funny..

No hentai anime can never match non-hentai's with good story line.. like Chrno crusade and Fullmetal Alchemist.

Ecchi makes an anime more interesting though..

Yeah, a touch on ecchi but not too much. Maybe like one or two ecchi scenes out of every 12 episodes. Good enough for me :P. Sometimes ecchi can add to the anime, like it does in Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien. Well placed, and not too much of it. Then again, that series was based on an H-Game D:.

I dont find anything wrong with hentai. usually all girls think its nasty and gross and stuff and most of the time it is with all the tentacles and bondage and killing. i think that those types of hentai are wrong but the soft core hentai thats not so nasty doesn't really bother me. but that's just my opinion. ^^

Hentai is bad very bad i like light ecchi anime with a few shower scenes even hot spas but then again im a big fan of harem anime where all these girls chase this one guy those are downright hilarious hentai is for perverts im somewhat of a pervert myself i love reading really raunchy romance novels but ill never go over the deep end and watch hentai not my style and i shudder at the thought of yuri-yaoi hentai*blah* hentai just wants me to shake the people who came up with the story and ask WTH! is wrong with you dont you have any morals at all plus i just wanna puke when i think of hentai theres even hentai games ive seen one advertised in nintendo power and thats a kids game magazine ^_^ what is our world coming too

U now i think that hentai is a bit disturbing but you now you have those days when you kind a feel lonly or you just wont some new feelings,hentai can be fun but not all the time :(, and watching some big a%% guy haveing a young girl naked on his table in some very Disterbing pose is a bit Grouse, don't you think so?

I've read the first 4 pages...then page 6...and now, I, former member of Hentai-Heaven subbers, am gonna say my very damn opinion.

SEX IS SEX. If you see a woman's privates and breasts with some form of sex. It's PORN. Doesn't matter if it's a damn hentai, 3D, or real live action. No matter how you bend it to favor your argument, it still comes to the fact that hentai is another media of porn. See SEX SELLS.

DAMN WESTERN THINKING. Believe me, most of us grew up in heavily western influenced countries (and yes, the Phillipines do count as well). We also grew up with initial thoughts that every cartoon should be exampled by Disney (anime wasn't really mainstreamed or even easily and readily available in the U.S. until 1997, even then it was very costly). Thus, we came up with opinions saying that anime (in we put in our heads as cartoons) should not show any type of pornographic thought. I'm pretty sure you guys are not really much of a saint about animation if you enjoy series like HellSing, Neon Genesis, or even Love Hina. It's not your mommy's cartoon she bought for you at Target. It's another type of media to be shown as entertainment to the public. The term Entertainment is not set for one type of audience as well.

SEX SELLS. Believe it or not, and you could bet my progress as a Marketing and International Business Major on the line, that SEX SELLS real well in Japan. In fact, it sells just about almost anywhere in the world. If you were a guy and you have a problem in terms of ecchiness in anime (which i would still question your sexuality) and yet you were turned on by a girl in a night club wearing a skimpy outfit with a thong. How about looking at hawt covers in FHM or Cosmo magazines? Why is there ALWAYS a picture of a girl in tight and/or loose clothing in nearly 80% of magazines? SEX SELLS, people! Doesn't matter if it's a little or a whole lot, Sex exists and it sells like hotcakes. It doesn't matter where it's located, if it's there, it will usually sell better than something that doesn't have it. It is more likely that an anime-related game will more likely to sell if it had some sort of hentai in it than stand-alone. The sales for stand-alone anime games is most likely not to succeed in competition in sales compared with other hentai-content titles.

NOT EVERYTHING IS GREAT. Yes, bad hentai exists. So does bad porn. So does bad anime series. Hell, look at the American TV series and find bad shows that you don't feel like watching (like those soap operas that lasted 30+ years). So of course you will run into bad titles. No different from Hollywood movies, too!

ANIME TITLES FROM HENTAI. Don't say you're a truely the *put rank here* Anime fan if don't know jack shit about the influence of Hentai. Shuffle was a hentai game. Fate/stay Nigh and Tsukihime were from hentai-content titles. Hell, even freaken AIR, KANON, and TO HEART were one of these top choices for h-games last time I remember for 2002. Hell, look up the game School School, doesn't it look too much like School Rumble?

THOSE WHO LIKE HENTAI ARE SICKOS? Well, that's a very well darn opinionated blind statement. It's like me saying that those who like Hip-Hop and Thug Life are idiots who don't know any better to live their lives. Or I could say those who own a Honda Civic or Integra don't know jack shit about their cars and see those as the fastest cars ever created (FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, LOOK UP FERRARIS). Then I could say those who watch anime has another else better to do because it's no different than watching TV. Or the fact that people posts on these forums must've been bored out of their mines in their life (I'm a work right now, hehe). It is your own closed opinion about people and it doesn't make you a better person than the next. Heck, you could say those Animators probably have no lives because they spend too much time making anime for you and only think about anime, and yet you enjoy their product. You may even be surprised how many of them start out as animators for hentai companies.

Thank you for reading my very damn long post. I'm not here to influence or change your opinions, just might as very well edumacate (mistyped on purpose) you against many of the poorly stated posts before this.
