Inuyasha got me into anime - it was the first I ever watched (apart from Pokemon five years ago - I think we can forget that).

Really, that's where it stops. Like what someone else said, 'it's an okay anime'. Some people are fans of it, just like any anime, but I myself soon moved on, and now I hardly give it a second thought. Probably the best way to find out if it's for you or not, is to give it a go, ^^

No. I stopped at 60ish because it got boring and then it continued to go on to 160ish eps. Mega wtf. Inuyasha is sorta like finding 400 needles in 4000000 haystacks. After the first 10 needles, it just gets boring :(.

Well inu, is realy about this doggy guy, and this girl from 21 century. you now as much as i hae seen it alright but it realy gets anoying sometimes, 'couse well... Inuyasha likes Kagome, and Kagome likes Inuyasha but its looks like they are just to shy to ask each other the Q, so it realy goes like this_ Inuyasha SIT boy, and inuyasha falls _into_ the ground, and thats practicly all of, i mena like the series is all about demon a%% kicking but they are just to amuture i gues. LOL
but in all that i still watch it! :P

Mm i do not know how to say about it the anime is good or not not only in its picture but also clood its music and the story if the story is not good no one will to see the anime or the music is not good not to see the first and the end but the anime is make good in first and the end ,how to say inu ,the music in the anime is made good and i enjoy it the story is too simple i see many like it and the picture in the anime is also ordenerly and the draw about this anime has draw alot anime before i see some and i find the people is same

I really like Inu Yasha: both manga & anime... but there're some annoying moments I cannot stand. For example: Kikyo, man! I hate her from all my heart and soul! So every moment when Inu's with Kikyo..well ya know what I mean ;)

Inu Yasha happened to be the first anime i ever watched and ever since then I've been hooked on anime all together. I love it and all but there are some flaws like it tends to be repetative, but the plot like is good.

It depends on what "THAT good" is to you, but I think no matter how high "THAT good" is, YES its THAT good. The original episodes are great, and the dubbed versions are honorable (compared to some other disasters *cough*MewMewPower*cough*Card Captors) The English versions still follow the same story line though. THe first and second movies, those I have myself seen and now own, are excellent. Although, I've heard some negative reviews of, I belive it was, the 4th movie.

Inuyasha seems pretty good to me, maybe if I had time to actually sit down and watch all those episodes; but what I've seen so far I like.

Inuyasha is horrible, its like dbz almost. Have they killed naraku yet? Its like this show never ends. Charactors are one dimensional and boring.

I really like Inu Yasha. I actually think that the story was pretty good though Kikyo got on my nerves, but everything esle, i really enjoy watching it!

Not sure if i already posted in this thrad.

for my opinion, i guess i lost my taste for takahashi rumiko's works for the reason of her anime being too predictable. this is maybe because i already know her style :) but as far as her anime titles are concerned, i can say that they are very good. after all, ranma 1/2 was my very first anime favorite.

as for inu yasha, i didn't get to watch them that much. just a few episodes in the middle part of the whole series just to give me a gist of the totality. my personal opinion: the anime is fair but i cannot say i really like it. it just gave me that impression. but here in the philippines, inu yasha is a craze and i guess i would understand how those people feel. :)

Back when I was a newbie to anime I checked this out on cartoon network and thought it was pretty cool...looking back now I don't really see what others and I used to see in this. I only watched it occasionally...maybe for a week then a couple months later for a week...but something that I found was that the story seemed to be repetitive and didn't really go anywhere...its like... "They're still hunting those shards eh? I see Naraku still isn't dead...wth is he anyway? Hmm this isn't even really that funny...Hey that sis's bro is still possesed...that sucks"

The story for me just seems stale and not really going anywhere...kinda DBZ style...maybe it was good at one point...but creativity here isn't really there...

I would rate it as decent I guess. Pretty good for people who just started watching anime. It's just sometimes it's somewhat generic at times.

Anyways, it's about a half demon named Inuyasha. A girl named Kagome frees him from the prison that Kikyou, Inuyasha's former deceased lover and a high priest, trapped him in. The story progresses after that through numerous of side stories and continues with the main storyline. I haven't watched this anime in a few years, so the descriptions a bit vague from me. ^^; But yea, it's a good starter anime if you're just getting into watching anime.
