How many pointless arguments have you created on AP now Caiobrz? I'm losing count.

I'll just close this, this thread was simply to inform, not to initiate another childish argument.

Caiobrz, you're seriously starting to piss me off.

The moderating team is just contradicting themselves when delete a given gallery for hentai and highlight a wallpaper which have the same content, and that's why I ask questions, because before I submit something and get punished by that, I rather would like to understand. Obviously, right now, I believe the correct is "the less skin the better" ... just to be safe.

The wallpaper that I highlighted is no way hentai. Heck do you even see the nipples? SHE'S DRESSED. There's a huge difference in seeing a nude/half-nude body and a girl dressed with clothes that are shaped almost like a body. But I guess your mental masturbation over that wallpaper makes you see what's underneath those clothes.

We're not contradicting each other, we had a discussion in our admin forum and we came to a general agreement over those artists whose categories have been deleted. The other mods here replied to you explaining you in details why we did not allow these artists. If you can't accept it you are free to leave AnimePaper, we are not going to step back from this decision.

I am getting tired of your rant, the highlighted wallpaper and the deleted categories have absolutely NOTHING in common, we have explained you in details that the categories we deleted have been deleted because the majority of the works produced by these artists is made of hentai images that we moderators don't want to go through every damn time we have to sort out scans in the approval gallery. Is it that hard to understand? We are not against ecchi, we are against HENTAI, it's a whole different thing. Heck if we were against ecchi then 90% of the categories should be deleted since there's a hint of fanservice in almost every damn anime. But hentai (with hentai meaning full/half nudity and/or vulgar/offensive images) is not allowed here. Of course the wallpaper you linked is not hentai, but I hope you do realize that the scan you used is one of the few covered/clean images that Tony Taka did on that game (Sora no Iro), while the rest (which represents more than 80% of it) of the images is nudes or even sex scenes. And since we do not want to go through them every damn day because newbies who forget to read the faqs submit them over and over we decided to sacrifice those categories.

So please don't play the dumb, you have perfectly understood what we said and what is our position. If you don't accept it that's a different matter that doesn't concern us mods anyway, but finding lame excuses like comparing the wallpaper I have highlighted (which is no where hentai, it's ecchi) with the discussion just out of bitterness and without making sense at all won't get you any result but pissing me off.

Exactly, which is why I suggested is it possible for any of the developers to somehow at unlink or somehow separate it instead. Of course, following by this post, I deem this suggestion to be invalid, I agree with your move, I am not finding any dissapointment in 4chan for ecchi and hentai lol.

AP has its own ideals, I am going along with it.

Yes, and that's why we have mods, if users were not dumb mods would have nothing to do, unfortunatelly, most of users don't even read the rules, let alone follow them. But that is not a reason to go deleting all galleries that are "noob-magnets" lol

oh please. we would have plenty of work to do even if people weren't stupid. we don't just sit on our asses all day and delete stupidity. theres a lot more than that.

your questions aren't being ignored. but they are very much trivial and being repeated 100 times in the posts before and after you.
why are the whole galleries being deleted?
because while many of you guys don't realize it, there are hundreds of scans uploaded daily. theres usually at least 300 scans. now, imagibe about 50-100 of them are just pure ecchi/hentai tony taka and ecchi shirow. that greatly slows down productivity, since we have to go through every individual scan and delete them. not to mention, we shouldn't have to ever see them period. no, it won't completely get rid of them, but it will lessen the amount we have to deal with. some people may go..."OH YAY HENTAI!" if they were approving scans, but we don't. and since it's not allowed in the gallery, why would we have a catagory for it.

again, AP was made for anime art, manga art, and game art. not the artists misc. works. like dias said, we allowed certain ones because they were tasteful and had a broad range of works outside of their misc work...like arina tanemura.
shuffle, air, fate/stay aren't deleted because they have an anime that isn't hentai. we're only attacking artists here, and games/anime that are purely hentai like bible black.
and i'd personally like to see satoshi gone too.

as for allowing only walls, that wouldn't work. cause people would just start uploading stuff to the scans gallery anyways. they're linked, and as far as i know you can't have one without the other. and even if you could it'd start..."well why can we upload his walls and not his scans?!"
and theres no reason, since the reason for deletion is that he has too many hentai works, and we're sickof seeing them.

if youw ant ecchi crap, go to MT and 4chan. you won't be finding it here, because thats not what AP is for.

Might I suggest something be added to the guide saying something like "Please note that the mods have recieved too many perverted/ecchii submissions from the following artists and will therefore not be accepting any scans or walls from them in future, even if they happen to be clean ones:

Please do not request categorys for these artists."

It'll defnitely be 'obvious' then :)

Nothing. I couldn't care less if a person worship Shirow's works but to request for the artist's gallery to be reinstated when it is obvious why it shouldn't exist definitely is a sign that something's whacked.

And sorry if I sound rude here, I'm not trying to pick a fight but just tryiung to understand the logic behind it all since I lost some scans/walls, but shouldn't police and delete improper scans be the work of moderators? why instead going the easy way deleting a so called "hentai" gallery the moderators didn't just delete the improper scans (with wealthy fines >D)? besides, if they were uploaded by normal members, I think they need to be accepted by a gallery moderator don't them? oO;

well...what you are saying is applicable , IF you want AP to become Minitokyo.
it is fueled with those items constantly reposted over and over again, welcome to the world, you delete them today, some n00b will come and repost them tomorrow.

No, the effect will not occur. If the person is not interested in the artist, there's no effect. And we have made clear on this issue. There is no confusion. We are already dealing with the "how do I contribute?", "how do I download wallpapers?", How do I get papers?" type of questions already for over a year. This is peanuts.

If Staff want to delete some more galleries like those Staff deleted, Staff must delete entire galleries that include popular galleries such as Shuffle, Fate/Stay Night, and etc.

Now, please don't delete Zoids gallery just because someone can't read the guide >_>

That is a fact in all forums due to real life issues and other circumstances. Members are free to come and go as they please. Members will leave and new members will join. AP will always be around.

And for people whining about Satoshi Urushihara and other artists. Obviously you guys haven't seen all of their works. When you get those "type" of scans hanging out in the approval queue, who do you think have to deal it? Us mods. You guys can make a lot of noise about scans being harmless and such because the more "tasteless" submissions have been rejected. Some people upload what they can find lying around on the net like *cough*4chan*cough*.

This accidentally got through when it shouldn't be.

As Kalico had earlier mentioned, AP was NOT supposed to have artist categories in the first place. We just decided to cut you guys some slack and created categories like Hyung Tae Kim and Aoi Nanase because of their works in WoG, Magna Carta, Angel Dust, etc (Masamune Shirow was an accidental creation due to confusion during staff transition). Then came in more artists category request whom we are not familiar with back then. Imagine opening up the queues only to find female characters sitting around naked, showing nipples and pubic hair *cough*Satoshi Urushihara*cough* *Tsukasa Jun*cough*.

I thought it was rather sad to say that how about keeping the wallpapers at least, those are at least genuine works, but scans are not allowed.
It is not coming for the scantily clad girls, it is somewhat to at least keep the wallers happy, and to at least appreciate the wallpapers that are made with effort, to delete the wallpapers would be unfair no?
At least that is my opinion, after all, it is hard work on wallpaper, scans I can understand. Or perhaps, a way to control so that you cannot upload scans to that category, but wallpapers are ok?

Just a little thought.

Hello ? AP Staffs ? I was surprised that you deleted Artist galleries and some what galleries.
I am really disappointed when I saw your determination of delet some galleries.
I want to AP Staffs to recover them. To be honest, I like all galleries that you had been deleted.
For me, before you deleted some galleries, I really excited about know Anime/Manga/Game Artist galleries.
Because I don't know Artist name and when I found scan that belong to Artist. I really love it and I want to collect many his/her art works as soon as possible.

I am not sure that you ask all member that you will delete galleries, if you didn't post anything about it, you make wrong decisions.
Also, I heard many people's opinion is the best choice but not just staffs.

I wish AP Staff reconsider it and cancel the decisions.

understand the initial goal of animepaper is for anime and manga wallpapers to begin with. not artist wallpapers. the artists catagories have gotten out of hand period. but so long as they're clean, or just a bit ecchi, it's okay. beyond that is not.

Totaly! I think hentai has it's time and place and I don't think that it's time nor it's place is here.

basically, i was getting a sick amount of hentai images, from a variety of users in tony taka. personally, i like his style. he's ecchi, yes, but he can still draw. but when theres such a flood of hentai scans for a particular artist, it's time for him to go. it's not fair to make me, as well as the other staff, look at excplicit tentacle rape images from shirow, and hardcore hentai from taka while we try and approve scans.
my decision is now based on the first group ofimages i see when i look up an artist in google whether their catagory gets approved or not. if i go to their personal website, and i'm slammed with hentai, he's going to be denied.
i have no problem with ecchi. hell, i'm a girl and whenever i draw a female character, she's sexy. no panty shots mind you, but she has a larger chest, sexy clothes, etc. so thats not my beef with those guys.
