Which is the best RPG for you?!

Is hard deffine only one game as the best RPG because every game has his unique characters, storyline and world
but if I had to make a choice I said it would be final fantasy 7

Grandia is my fav.

Characters,story,graphics,everything is perfect! Too bad it got no attention thanks to FF7(which is of course a brilliant game too!). Ah! the memories...

I just love Chrono Trigger, the characters, the story, the gameplay, the soundtrack, if it were a little bit longer it'd have been the perfect game.

I really like the Inuyasha RPG game...can't remember what exactly it was called. I really don't like RPG's too much, but I never thought that when I was playing that game! ^^

One of my very first RPGs was Final Fantasy 6 (I knew it as 3 at the time). Because it was one of the first, I'll have to say that it definitely holds a place in my heart as a favorite. Chrono Trigger holds the place immediately next to it, as well.

Currently, I'm into TES IV: Oblivion, which (after aLOT of mods) is actuallly quite a good game.

I'm one of the gamers who got hooked on the early FF games, so I'm starting to become a little disheartened with the franchise, but it has yet to stop me from buying and trying a game (barring XI, anyways).

My first favorite RPG is Zelda : Link to the past.. in super famicom / super nintendo format... next is Chrono Trigger, i very admire with game+ system and alternate ending system. And then my favorite RPG is Final Fantasy VII in sony playstation format.. for Online RPG, i like Ragnarok Online, Lineage II and World of Warcraft.

My favorite RPG is definitely Tales of a Destiny 2 (PS2).. I loved the story and battle system of the game. Also, the graphics and special effects of the spells and attacks are also really well made.

I loved playing the Final Fantasy games (probably the best RPG series out there), though you don't have to forget Gothic 1 & 2 and the upcoming Gothic 3.. the graphics weren't the main things that attracted in the 1st to games but the storyline and the gameplay was amazing.. if anyone has played Gothic 2, the next title will be 4 to 5 times the size of it, with an advanced graphic engine and lots of guilds to join I'm expecting a lot from it..

Squaresoft RPG's in general are my favorite. They all have good storylines, fun as heck!, and just plain cool in general

Final Fantasy VII is one of my all-time faves but I really like games such as Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Parasite Eve etc; I’m really drawn to them. Love the dark story lines.

-mario rpg
-final fantasy 2(IV)
-earthbound
-tales of symphonia
-sword of mana
-breath of fire 1(i'd never finish this game but is very good)
-lufia and the fortress of doom
