But I think I like to keep the original one with the English sub below. By that way, you can hear what they really say. English dub? I think sometimes they're just not suitable to the anime, or the English dubbers are not into the character much than the Japanese did. Mon, 23 Oct 2006 18:58:35 -0400 ~yugioh1988 http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ I like Anime in English alot more Mon, 23 Oct 2006 18:54:06 -0400 ~FoonZ http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ For me it depends on the anime...Bleach in Japanese > Bleach in English, Cowboy Bebop in English > Bebop in Japanese, FMA in English > FMA in Japanese...I guess whatever you see first and get used to. Mon, 23 Oct 2006 18:10:36 -0400 $veggfx http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ Subs for me. I just hate all dubs - just take a look at the german Naruto. How can a single company destroy such a great masterpiece? Mon, 23 Oct 2006 17:59:44 -0400 ~Matsumi http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ I prefer japanese with subtitles, because I love to hear their original voices, because I watched this dudded version od Prince of Tennis in English... >.< Mon, 23 Oct 2006 15:54:40 -0400 ~MahouShoujo15 http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ It usually depends on the dubbing. Sometimes the dub is actually good, like the dub for Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo and Azumanga Daioh. I usually will rather watch the original because some of the voices for the characters in dubs I just can't stand. And also, sometimes it sounds like the voice actors are pretty much mocking the show with lame voice acting. In the Japanese ones, the voices usually fit the characters and the voice acting is well done.
Besides, I don't mind reading subs, although it IS a pain to watch anime with the subs and do other things at the same time. Mon, 23 Oct 2006 15:47:56 -0400 `Shikonxx http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ I like subs so much better. English dubs usually suck like in Bleach and Inuyasha. The voices are usually so freaking squeaky, its painful to the ears. Mon, 23 Oct 2006 15:34:12 -0400 ~Sineva http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ Nuuuu animes are never good when they are synchro. Its so rare that the voices of the people are better then the japanease original voice! Instead of concentrating on the movie Im thinking about the voice they put in the movie><

so...japanease voices with english title plz Mon, 23 Oct 2006 15:19:26 -0400 ~dplancarte http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ It all depens on the voice of the person that sub the anime. If the voice is very similar to the original japanese voice, i usually go with the dub. Ofcourse nothing really beats japanese. So most of the time i watch anime with subs. Some characters sound a lot better in japanese anyway. Mon, 23 Oct 2006 15:09:03 -0400 ~shotoku http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ I like Italian dubbing, but Japanese with Subtitles wins 100 to 0. Mon, 23 Oct 2006 15:00:33 -0400 ~ibby http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ I prefear subs myself. though I don't mind dubs cause it means I don't have to read. Mon, 23 Oct 2006 14:52:24 -0400 $ugubesugo http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ I thank God there are subbed versions, I would be miserable if there only were dubbed ones. I like to hear the original voices, to pick up some Japanese wordsa and expressions and also the translators notes that you find in most of the best subtitlers. Here's a shout out to all you brave subtitlers, God bless you all! Mon, 23 Oct 2006 14:41:46 -0400 ~retardation http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ Even people who don't know how to read prefer subtitles. even blind people. Mon, 23 Oct 2006 14:21:08 -0400 ~weezer http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/38746/ I prefer subs but there are some dubs that are pretty good. Like Full Metal Alchemist and FLCL.
