The first thing that catches my eye is the strange and small size (800x571). 800x600 is the standard ratio, but either way it's too small to submit here on AP. Also, due to the size I can't really make a good judgement about the scan extraction, etc.
Anyway, the second thing I want to comment is the background color. It's a really 'dirty' color, which isn't really representating Christmas (white and blue are the colors for that). It's also a bit plain, but I'll come back to that later. To cheer you up a little, I do like the concept of Why do you post here if you don't want bad critics, lol? O_o
i think its pretty nice =B Wed, 08 Nov 2006 19:06:50 -0500 °Astrologica http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/39945/ It's just more of the same if you ask me... the black one isn't good because the outlines look too jagged.
Actually, having a copy of the character in the background isn't good either... go back one step =P Wed, 08 Nov 2006 18:23:51 -0500 ~Jamr http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/39945/ Ok and waht do you think now i made 2 new versions i thiinks the black ones are better ^^

http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/3047/azukawg4.jpg

Black

http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/8492/azukawallbxt9.jpg Wed, 08 Nov 2006 14:11:42 -0500 `hmyip http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/39945/

Jamr

Ok i make it but my scan now is whit out vector what do you thik now? http://img490.imageshack.us/img490/8769/azukawallbi1.jpg

Do you even know what vector means? Vector is not something which you make jurky lines and make the whole scan look shitty...

Also, the wallpaper looks extremely boring, the scan and the background doesnt blends into each others at all. Wed, 08 Nov 2006 08:07:03 -0500 °Tias http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/39945/ It looks fine now, but it's kinda ordinary and plain, there's nothing special about it thats popping out...it's like just your average wallpaper amongst the crowd, try to see if you can find something that makes it pop out of the crowd...it looks kinda borin...BUT i am sur ethis will get uplaoded this time if you try it again Wed, 08 Nov 2006 07:51:50 -0500 °Astrologica http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/39945/ Yayness, now the scan looks well. The problem was that weird effect you had on it. Choose a brush of size 1 or 2 and pick black. Then zoom in to about 400% and trace along the outlines of the scan. After you're done, select the path and stroke it. (Check the tutorials over at imanimations.net for more details)

If you vectored this scan, I you left out one thing which happens to be one of the most important for vectoring: the outline. Fix that so that it looks clean and not jaggy like now. That should solve your problem.

I really think the background was a job well done. There's not too many things on it but it doesn't look plain either. Just fix the scan and it'll be great. ^^ Tue, 07 Nov 2006 14:24:09 -0500 ~LP http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/39945/ Yeah, the extraction is not that well
maybe some smudge tool will help
the background looks very nice =D Tue, 07 Nov 2006 13:57:29 -0500 ~KaNoN-RAW http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/39945/ The extraction of the this image very badly done ... you did not extract it of an original image...

I do not like me since you her extracted but the fund you still have me well ... it tries to find the real image of azuka. Tue, 07 Nov 2006 11:30:08 -0500 °Astrologica http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/39945/ Nope, take a look again...
-now some parts have outline and others don't.
-some lines look like they were cut and others look jagged.
-are you sure you didn't apply a filter to the scan? the inner lines look incomplete. I suggest you take out this filter. If the scan so unclean you had to use it you'll have to think of another way... I vector them like 90% of the time so I don't know much about cleaning scans. >_< Tue, 07 Nov 2006 11:19:44 -0500 ~Jamr http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/39945/ Ups yez i Use the feather inverse an 1px to clean the outline. And now what do thik still wrong?

http://img373.imageshack.us/img373/6035/azukawalloh2.jpg Tue, 07 Nov 2006 10:40:07 -0500
