Too bad, it was a pretty good system. Mon, 22 Jan 2007 19:12:17 -0500 ~loluralimey http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/45143/ The 2 metal slugs for the NGP were good. i dont know any other games besides those though since those are the only ones i played XD. To bad they stopped making games for it though. Mon, 22 Jan 2007 19:08:28 -0500 ~pomorales http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/45143/ You'd think they might be able to sell what units they have left faster if they had named the thing "Neo Geo Pocket Color" instead of the cheap sounding "Color Pocket Arcade." At least that's the name on the packaging of the NGPCs I've seen in some stores. If I could figure out a way to change the text, that'll be great. I'm still looking for Metal Slug though. I played my friend's Metal Slug before; that was fun :3

defunct32

I thought this system is already "dead?" Anyways glad you're enjoying yourself ^^; you should've gotten a Gameboy Advance or a DS, just a suggestion..

Technically, yes, the NGPC system is dead. It was discontinued about a year after its release due to SNK's bankruptcy. It was recalled and the company tried to sell it in China, where it thrived. But somehow some of the unshipped units were released in 2003 packaged with games.

I'm still saving up for a Nintendo DS... I have small pockets. :P

Donpablo

Holy crap! I'm still looking for those two titles though. eBay only showed one copy so far... >_<

vinrik

um..excuse me? I've seen them in some stores packaged with four cartridges, but you can only tell that they're an NGPC when you look on the text on the handheld itself inside the shrinkwrapped packaging. The packaging itself gives no indication that the handheld is what it is.

I'm glad they're still on sale, honestly. My favorite game so far is Puzzle Link, followed by Gals Fighters. Sonic Adventure was graphically nice, but lacking fun factor.

Does anybody know any good games for the NGPC?
