Are the shadows on both girls bad or just the one on the small girl cause I was having the weirdest time put that in.. lol!

Both of them I think... do the experiment with a pencil or something against a lamp! I just did it to check I wasn't imagining things X)

I agree with Astrologica, it does look like their floating. Maybe you can do a lower drop shadow effect? I like it though, very pretty. The colors are nice. Totally off subject, but is that the roof from Fruits Basket? lol! I feel like Kyo should be sitting there! >.<

The idea is pretty cute... but the scan doesn't look clean enough and I can see some jagged lines that need some polishing.
Secondly, the shadows make it looks like they're floating O.o or maybe it's just me? just place something in your table against the light of a lamp and see how it looks like. Maybe you'll see what I mean.
Thirdly, I think the roof is to grainy... and I like the leaves but maybe they should have a more vivid green.

I really like it! ^_^ Nice background effect. I just think the little girl's shadow should be fixed a bit. It seems like it's unpraportioned to the rest of the wall.
