Linkin Park is like total awesomeness. Their older albums like meteora and hybrid theory are the best alternate/nu metal/rock albums ever. My fav bands of all time! Though i personally don't really like minutes to midnight but new divide was cool :)

I fully agree with kei387.

I could go on and on about this, but I'll make it short. Let's just say I was a really big fan of LP. A REALLY big fan. I collected Hybrid Theory, Reanimation, Meteora, Frat Party at the Pankake Festival, the Jay-Z mash-up and supported Mike in his Fort Minor project. I even wanted to join LPUnderground, although parental controls made that impossible.

And then they released Minutes To Midnight.

Bye bye LP. You've lost me. Your old music was so much more unique and kick-ass, and immediately recognised as your songs when I heard them. Now when I hear your new songs I can't even tell it's LP material.

Gimme back the old LP

But when people walk around singing the same things

it kinda irritates me and end up getting bored of a group, like LP .

MMMMMMM i think Hybrid theory and Meteora are their best albums, BUT, they started with the remixes, the J-Z thing, just to release minutes to midnight ... :S i dont like that album, All i want is the old Linkin Park back!

Hybrid Theory is still their best album but both Meteora and Minutes to Midnight have plenty of good tracks. They are starting to sound a bit too mainstream now for my taste but they're still a good band.

I used to think they were a great band in middle school but then after Hybrid Theory they really started to go down hill and to me their newest album is by far the worst one they have ever made. *waits to get flamed by current LP fans*

Is the best in the nu metal,

They're okay. I personally do not like some of their songs, but maybe that's just my taste. For example, their new song "New Divide" is great, but after listening to songs too much like "In the End", it really sickens me when i hear it. Also some of the songs like "Numb" are overrated and overused imo.

I'm not much of a real band listener, personally preferring video game music, but I have heard from Linkin Park a few times, and while I've read they seem to have some mixed good/bad reputation with most of today's teens most likely under the weird accusion of being aimed towards ''emo's'', I did enjoy one song I happened to hear from them. I believe it was called 'Breaking the habit'. Had a good beat going on.
