What is your way to save more money wisely? http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ en-us Sun, 09 Sep 2007 20:30:50 -0400 AnimePaper RSS Generator http://static2.animepaper.net/images/v5/icons/ap-logo-sm.gif animepaper.net http://www.animepaper.net/ Animepaper site syndication ~kimiohs http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ My mom purchased some stocks for me...and I'm trying to save enough for a CD; I could leave it in there for 8months and get about a 5% interest back. I also have a bank account so I get interest with my savings. I also apply for credit cards that have cash back and I'm pretty good at spotting discounts or sales. I like to get nice things but that doesn't mean I'm paying full price unless I like it very very much. But, sometimes I save a lot then I go and spend it on a bag but I haven't done that in a while. Sun, 09 Sep 2007 20:30:50 -0400 ~cloudxg http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ The best way to save up money is don't buy any animes or games, but this gonna kill me, I have to watch anime everyday. so just working hard and own more and more money! Sun, 09 Sep 2007 19:39:04 -0400 ~FatesDecision http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ Yeah...Buying things are addicting..But I guess one way to save up well for me that is...Is that will I keep using the item excluding for school...I mean thinking of the future and that I would use it to its worth...xD Sun, 09 Sep 2007 16:31:53 -0400 ~Aekaede http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ Heh, very easy very easy. If you want to save money wisely, you just have to be like me! If you don't want anything except food to sustain your life, trust me money never leaves. It might be a good idea to invest it as well to maintain its value since inflation will eat away at your savings. Oh, and its a good idea to live a minimalist lifestyle and not go to places other than home, so that you save a lot. And when you do use money, its a good idea to do stuff in bulk as it costs less money, like when you wash your clothes make sure its at full load, or do it by hand. And as for food, taking into consideration you'd want to eat healthy, its very simple! The point isn't the "fill" yourself up but check for nutrients and the cheapest combination of prices, even better if you dont have to cook it to save more money! Sun, 09 Sep 2007 10:09:45 -0400 ~shirou99 http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ Depends on my feeling hungry, thristy or not two of them. If you want to save your money it's preety easy. Just bring a lot of food from your home. Or maybe don't look at any food you like. Sun, 09 Sep 2007 09:53:07 -0400 ~WMagnus http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ I dont know if I already answered this topic but here I go:

Money itches, thats a scientific fact. XD When you have it, you have to spend it.
The most important thing is to learn to control ourselves and know we cant buy everything we see, we have to choose wisely.
Lets see, when I get my paycheck the first thing to do is counting all the expenses (food, bills, clothes, etc) and once I did that I take the remaining money and put it in a safe place. I just keep it there til I see something I like and see if its enought to buy it. Or just keep saving 'til I have a good amount of money and shop different things in one day.^^ Sat, 08 Sep 2007 11:33:50 -0400 ~kalshidon http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ It depends for me.
I have a full time job, but I decided recently to wait another year before moving out of my parent's place to buy a new car (well, loaned) I really needed it because I drive to work every day and the old car was killing my bank account...because of gaz.
I buy something for myself every once in awhile, most of the time, its anime-manga/ related, rather it be an anime figure or a dvd or two (I don't count my mangas because I have some series I follow every month ). My advice to you would probably be, don't buy anything unless you feel you truly want it or need it. I have a little alarm in my head, when I know I want it, I take it. If I pick it up and look at it from every angle, its most likely I wont end up buying it, or I'll buy it and have no use for it. Sat, 08 Sep 2007 07:27:05 -0400 ~olif http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ I work now, and i make 2 bank account, one is for the one i spend and the other one is the one i save...and try to list all expenses that you spend so you know which one is need to be spend and which one is not necessarily Sat, 08 Sep 2007 01:02:35 -0400 ~lovingu http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ Saving money is tough.
i think the best ways to save money is to just stay at home and not go anywhere.. hahahas.. because this way i guess you wouldnt be able to see any new stuff you wanna but and therefore you wouldnt anyhow spend money and you save. but for me i only buy stuff that i think i need or worth buying. so i wouldnt go shopping and buy the whole shop which is good i guess.. Sat, 08 Sep 2007 00:48:32 -0400 ~JKoopman http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ Simple. I have a savings account and a checking account. Every time I get payed, 10% of my check goes into my savings and the rest goes into my checking account for bills and rent and fun money. I only dip into my savings account in emergencies (like when my car broke down and it cost $800 to fix it), but for the most part it just sits there untouched.

Eventually I hope to save enough to move out to the west coast and finally get out of this midwestern hellhole. Fri, 07 Sep 2007 15:19:45 -0400 ~kalshidon http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ I don't particularly spend a lot, not to say I starve myself or anything but I generally don't go shopping, or walk around, see stuff and buy, but I don't that's consistently saving, it's just that I don't want to spend them. And then once in a while, I buy some stuff. I try to never buy out of impulse. Always look at something, weigh it up, then walk away. I used to buy so much junk.

Of course, if it's a real bargain or unique, then why not? (If you find yourself thinking this all the time, then it's time to stop rethink how much of a "bargain" the thing is!! Thu, 06 Sep 2007 18:39:06 -0400 ~Soliduspln http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/51791/ I always try to save money because i don't like taking cash from my parents. And i have no problem doing so, i've never been tempted to spend it all on something. I'm saving for a new pc so i dare not think about buying something expensive.
