The 360 is pretty good, with games like Bioshock, Halo, Mass effect etc, but there's too many problems, like the three red lights, which can take microsoft forever to get a new one, as well as the 360 scratching every disk, which can be really irritating. I like the PS3 more, as it will begin to have better games than 360, starting w/ Uncharted and then MGS4 then GTA4, Army of 2, etc etc

I can respect your opinion that the Wii is the best console. However, I do not find any validity in your statement that there is no improvement from the PS2 to the PS3 besides the blu-ray and graphics. The PS3 has evolved from just a mere video game console to a home media entertainment center. You cannot say that for the Wii. And virtual console is nothing more than ROMs running on system memory. The PlayStation 3 not only can but does do the same thing as the Wii in this regard.

Whats even more revolutionary is a single navigation menu, the XMB (which has won many international awards), which has completed changed the way someone navigates content not only on the PS3 but also a network of shared media on your home network. You can access your videos, music, pictures, etc. via the PS3 and output it on your TV.

On top of that, there is an ever-evolving remote play that allows you to access your PS3 content via the PSP. You can also use your PSP as a controller and as a remote monitor. At the TGS, they revealed new plans to have PS3's network with each other to access a main PS3, which acts as a server, and the contents of a shared home network through it as well as have multiplayer games running through that same network and being played on multiple PSPs.

The Wii is revolutionary in the way you play games by increasing interactivity with motion senors but in all honesty, thats as far as it has evolved. The only other revolution is creating a creative interactive international community via channels such as polling.

If we're talking about motion sensing then you cannot ignore that the PS3 has also taken strides in that direction. The sixaxis controller also does motion sensing and is being utilized in quite a few games including Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Heavenly Sword where you can control projectile flight by moving your controller around. The great thing about the PS3 sixaxis is that it does not require and additional motion sensor bar like the Wii does.

Dont forget the tilt function on the ps3 as well as the dualshock3. personally, the wii isn't bad, its just that i'm more into high def. gaming which the wii doesn't have. But raving rabids is damn funny game. so props to the wii. but meh for its graphics.

I really wanted to get a PS3 only because Square Enix FFXi game commercial looked so awesome Too bad they cost a lot but I also wanted to get a Wii as well since you just don't sit there and press buttons but move around more as well

I'd also love to play fable 2....and 'cos its going to take to looong to be out for the pc and probably problems will occur with the graphics and things like that i'd rather play it on X360

This proves you need to go back andre-look at the facts. The PS3 has the best internal power, and it has been tricked out with all the top of the line hardware, but this puts stain on the game makers, "putting them several many month and several many millions dollars on the side of uncomfortable" (see Yahtzee's video game reviews for the reference). The 360 by far has the games. PS 3 has Motor Storm, Resistance, Full Auto 2, and I honestly can't think of any other good games (screw you FF 12 is bad, reviews are mixed from the unbiased sites so it don't count, GT 4 is a no since it's a PS 2 game and GT 5 ain't out yet to prove us all wrong, and Heavenly Swords was way overhyped and only a mediocre game). Right now it's the 360, but the Wii could challenge it. The Ps3 will have some good games coming out for it later this year, but Drake's Fortune was only ok (see Yahtzee again) and so far she's acting like she's 2 laps down in a 5 lap race.

Xbox 360 has great games coming soon later in 2008 such as gears of war 2, fable 2 and splinter cell conviction (my favourite tom clancy series ever)
