The very end is better but the anime change it a bit and it was a very bad idea. Sat, 15 Aug 2009 22:46:34 -0400 ~tethaea http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/55680/ I really liked the beginning of it but near the end, it kinda lost my interest. Sat, 08 Aug 2009 17:02:51 -0400 ~Gvnkwyr http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/55680/ I also like the opening and ending themes of this anime, specially the heavy metal one (what's up) Thu, 30 Jul 2009 14:57:52 -0400 ~cluck35 http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/55680/ Death Note is so very good but I was enjoyed to read it until L was dead but I still read it until final chapter. Overall is still very good. Anime version is also good except ending, which is different compare to manga version. I don't really like it though. Tue, 28 Jul 2009 19:47:08 -0400 ~Ishikawa91 http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/55680/ I really liked the unique story in this. Where the opposing sides were always right next to each other. The ending had a very interesting twist. The whole theme or feeling of the anime as it went on was really cool. I would definitely recommend this anime to people. I just loved it lol. Sun, 26 Jul 2009 23:35:32 -0400 ~Gvnkwyr http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/55680/ I liked it

Subtly crude, with plot twists, and a different perspective of the classical battle between good and evil. I like this kind of stories when the main character is the bad guy, but apparently is not that bad, but in the end he pays.

Death note's morality reminded me another series with similar good-evil nature perspective, Code Geass. Fri, 10 Jul 2009 10:34:42 -0400 ~ForteAnly http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/55680/ I thought this anime was great. Everything from begining to end was executed wonderful. There is no doubt that light's impact in the world will stay for generations to come. I don't think Near was as good as L though but someone had to stop Light now that L was gone. What happend to Misa Misa at the end did she end up dying or something. Fri, 10 Jul 2009 10:13:43 -0400 ~Ikari-Shinji http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/55680/ Death Note was cool until L died. Mon, 06 Jul 2009 17:01:14 -0400 ~jajjka23 http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/55680/ I saw about 10 episodes and i really like it!
Especially Ryuk ^^ Sun, 21 Jun 2009 08:37:29 -0400 ~lamegeek999 http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/55680/ I loved this anime and I loved the Live Action Movie so much more. The story was just insane and the plot twists as well as seeing all the main characters suffer and go through the hardships that they did. I think L and Light could've became friends if they weren't in the predicament that led them to have to fight each other. I also think Light let his ideals take over him too much to the point his ideals became him. Sat, 20 Jun 2009 05:12:18 -0400 ~Celestial http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/55680/ A really unique, awesome anime. That being said, by around the third episode or so, and all episodes thereafter, I really wanted something horrible to happen to Light. Heh.
Anyway, if I had to give some sort of criticism, it would be the somewhat lackluster character development. Light...Raito, or whatever, was easy enough to understand in that the motivation behind his actions came from his childish notion of justice. The thing that bothered me was that he didn't seem to want anything else beyond the whole 'become a god' thing. I mean he didn't (seriously) care about what happened to his sister, his father or Misa: He was just genuinely obsessed with his one goal. Generally, characters in a reasonably complex anime have multiple factors and motivations influencing their actions.

Ok, that's kind of a lame critique, but yeah, it's all I could think of. Sat, 23 May 2009 12:58:59 -0400 ~mizorechan http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/55680/ The ending is quite satisying not like other anime Thu, 21 May 2009 08:04:10 -0400
