Ive already watched all of it
but there was one thing ididnt understood
about the robot and the girl :S
it was random and weird :O

I found i /tear'd quite a bit during clannad, i think a total of four times through the series.
It was one of those series' that i could just watch episode after episode, although for some reason i liked the alternate ending just as much as the original SL ending. *shrugs*.
I loved the high production quality and more dimmensional characters.
I'm going to watch After Story~ after i finish a couple other series i'm on atm. What's the general idea concerning it? i don't want to look too far into it as to avoid spoilers.

Me too~ i really like clannad a lot~ i even remember when i watched fuko final chap of story.. i just cant stop crying.. haha..

The special ep.24 of clannad after story has some refreshing memories from the opening theme in clannad 1...

although Fuko-chan wasn't very clear in the scene| , but the girl and Ushio is my ++Fav...

i have come to a thought that they already plan the whole story but just decided to split it in to two seasons[?]...

clannad is one of my many ++Fav animes.. drama

Clannad is a really good anime, capable of appealing to those who don't normally enjoy the slice of life genre (like me). At first it bothered me how moe the characters were, and I'm still not a huge fan of the art, but I started loving it for the plot and characters before long.

I watched the first episode a while ago, right after it came out, and I totally dismissed it as just generic moe/slice of life stuff, but I gave it a second chance and I'm so glad I did. Just shows you can never judge a book by its cover.

This comment is about both seasons.
Ok... So Clannad was actually one of the few greatest animes that I have seen.
I especially loved how when the non-romantic scenes made me cry.
e.g. the episode where the truth about Tomoya's father was revealed.
I'm pretty annoyed with the ending. Well, It's mostly because I got confused.
But otherwise It's awesome!

Clannad and After Story were really great. Really liked the first ark in season one with Fuko, ending of it was really bittersweet.

I watched, I guess pretty much like the majority, Clannad after watching Kanon.
At first, because I enjoyed Kanon so much, I think I was subconsciously comparing the two and did not give myself enough time to enjoy Clannad. but I now loved both equally ^_^
Clannad has had me in tears both from being sad and from laughing too much.
And I agree with member "patcharin110" above, the whole star and starfish thing and the character's reaction had me in giggles for a while.
A really enjoyable and touching series =)

The second season is indeed a more serious and touching. I really like this anime. All the anime studio that good. Air, Kanon, Clannad ... While the graphics and characters are so similar to each other, that over time start to get them. And elements of the scenario is also very much alike. The disease is Nagisa from Clannad and Misuzu from Air, for example. Even outside, they look like. And in each series harem - a lot of girls and one boy. But the series is very good, touching and lovely. KAWAII!

Of what I have heard is that the first season was about humor and the second about crying. Oh well, I will watch it some day xD

Actually, I think the second season is more touching. Expecially in the chapter 19.
