Lol. Live action never turns out good in my opinion. I love higurashi, but there is no way they could make that good. No way possible.

No Shion can't be there cause the live action is Onikakushi Hen AKA first Arc of the anime, when shion is introduced in Watanagashi Hen, second arc...perhaps that's for second movie
at least in the live action the moe factor is still there^^... maybe^^

I hope they do the Anime justice, but I dont know if im wrong, or if it already been said, but, What about Shion, isn't she supposed to be there as well?

I can not believe that really intrigues me will be like this ... Live Action jeje ke me as much curiosity as the murders and will also be asked whether all the crazy characters involved in various types of events, within the dark secret of Hinamizawa ...

It's difficult for people who watch the anime first then watch the live action, it's gonna be easy to like live action if you never heard any of the anime or the manga, it proves with me all the time, so i won't watch this live action, coz i know it will ruin my image of higurashi...coz who will in the reality world have green, yellow, or purple hair?

My good, the movie was so good! I downloaded it like 2 days after it came out then watched it immediately. I didn't think it would be too great because it as a live-action, but I was really wrong.
I think all Higurashi fans should watch it ^^

Oh wow, that's such a bad idea. :0
I've already been disappointed by Death Note... It was cool, but with THAT cool story, they could have put more effort into the movie.

The real characters in Higurashi are very young. I don't think they can get that young actors - and I also don't think the kids can act as freaky/psycho as in the anime. ^^'

It might be a good movie, but not worth to be called "Higurashi no naku koro ni".
I'm still looking forward to see it, I just hope some good group will sub it. :p

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I don't think it will turn out as actually good or well done.

I do, however, think that it will be very amusing and will provide me with much lulz, just based on the one scene of it I saw on Youtube with Rena's "USO DA!"

Rena should switch roles with the satoko or rika hahha, they seem more cute than her!
mion.. i don't think she or keiichi fits their roles..

I'm not gonna lie, it looks horrible to me... they all look the same age... also, I don't think Higurashi is the type of anime that should be adapted into a live action, either.
