Konata is more like a guy inside a girl's body, because it's hard for me to imagine a girl that would act like that (playing eroge games and all that). Also, she isn't really a good example to follow: irresponsible, avoids her duties everytime she can, her tastes are limited to anime, manga and videogames...

Konata is an Otaku.but not all Otakus love mostly her.i like Konata,but i love Kagami most.

Konata is... someone I wouldn't like to know in real life, to be honest. In fact, if I knew someone like, I wouldn't hesitate to hit her in the face :(

Also, she isn't really a good example to follow: irresponsible, avoids her duties everytime she can, her tastes are limited to anime, manga and videogames... ^^u She's a very boring (and highly overrated) character in my opinion and a very forced stereotype that, most of the times, you can't even believe.

I can believe girls like Kagami, Tsukasa, Miyuki or even Cousin Yui (I've known people who resemble them, honestly), but Konata... urh, meeting someone like her would be highly scary.

I must admit her design is very cute and I do really like her cute face... but out of that, no, nothing.

When I'm watching konata in the anime it's as if she is a female version of me! ...Though that thought does scare me(I sure have fallen...). But she is definately a character which all otaku will surely love.

Konata in my opinion is so awesome it's unrealistic. I just couldn't imagine something so good being possible. Kagami is my second most loved out of the series. My first is Minami Iwasaki. I always have a thing for those types of girls. Never actually seen someone like her in real life though.

You can tell that she's made up to be a mental orgasm for otakus.

I just love Konata! she is the greatest otaku of allll! I love the part when she had to go to [comiket?] and she dragged Kagami and Tsukasa with her and she was giving orders like a general in war!

And i love all of her references of anime!
