Looks or personality?

...Going for just looks is pretty damn shallow. I mean you can go for looks if your looking for a 1 night stand I guess, but if you want a relationship, the person has got to have a good personality you can relate to, or a personality that compliments your own. Personally I usually like people with good looks (like most of us do), but I usually only develop serious crushes on people who have a nice personality.
Although looks do help a lot. :P

I'd definently go for someone who has it both! XD

But we all know how hard is that to find.

Since I already know bunch of guys who are good-looking I have never actually noticed it. Just because they act like a**holes.

So I'd definently go for the guy with the personality. Beauty is not ever-lasting anyways. XP

Personality.
I get hit on by cute looking guys but that's just how far I go. If they're boring to hang out with then I don't want to date them! (-_-) What's the point? I want to a have a good time not something nice to look at (that's kinda creepy thinking about it)

Life to short to go out with someone just for looks, ya' know?

Choosing one over the other doesn't mean you don't care about both. Even though a great personality can overshadow bad physical characteristics, in most cases it's a combination of both that attract people. Maybe one before the other, but never just one. I'm just human, so of course I'm gonna want a more or less good looking person who is also interesting.

I think personality matters for me over looks. If they have average decent looks and a great personality that I'm comfortable around, then he is someone that I would be interested.

If the girl/guy is not cool, doesn't respect you and doesn't demonstrate satisfaction with life, beauty won't save her/him from loneliness. That's what I think. Behavior is the most important to me

Going with what Shireishou said about liking girls the moment you see them, if they're outward appearance is attractive enough.

It's true, girls gifted with particularly good looks will often turn the heads of guys as they walk past. However, if you get to know them, and find out that they are particularly acidic, it instantly puts you off. Often you can't really talk about liking someone until you get to know them better, but yeah, though looks are what attract a guy in the first place, personality plays a part in determining how long a girl can keep a guy interested.

Basicly, I think all of us will consider someone's look at first. For me, at the first time I'll be more interseted to know someone with a good look than someone with a usual look. I think we can't avoid that look will also play a part if we see someone for the first time.

For me, I choose personality than look. But I think that's all about match or not. If you feeling match with someone, of course that doesn't matter if his/her look is bad or not.
For example : there're 2 boys/girls that fall in love with you. One has a good look and the other hasn't. You've known both of them. The not-good-looking one's personality is better than the good-looking one. But then, you choose the good-looking one because you feel more match with him/her. And then people will think that you prefer look than personality, right?

I think look or personality is a very random thing. If you only talk about it, of course everyone will answer personality (me too). Feeling is the most important thing to make you decide. Not everyone that choose look mean they're not consider personality. Because at least, everyone has bad-sides and good-sides~
