End of Clannad

Sadly, i watched the movie before the series... it was so depressing.
I really love the series though :] im to happy for tomoya and nagisa. they make such a cute couple. Also, after story's really interresting. I hope it wont end like the movie D:

I really really really want that kyoto animation had made the real ending of clannad after story game...and not the ending of the movie...i really hope that,...cause i was watching the first season of the anime and then watched the movie..and wtf!...i really hate to think that the end of nagisa was that...but then i notice that there was a real ending...and in the movie they didn't put it..and now that kyoto animation is doing the series...it is most probably that the real ending will be aired because of the girl and robot scenes..and i can have a nice moment if i watch that ending.

They had a second part because that was how the game continued. After story was hard to get through, it turns emotional like the movie did. I only went to 1 ending but I know there is at least 2 hopefully they will use the other for the TV version so we don't end up with the same story. The other ending also progresses further. I don't want to say more since it is not done yet it would be a major spoiler.

I think the first series went great, until the movie killed the whole series, until clannad after story started ^_^. Does anyone agree ?

Sakagami Tomoyo OVA, Clannad Chapter 24 is the ending of the tomoyo route in the game of clannad no the end of the series,

I really loved how clannad ended in the anime series, didn't like how the movie ends though..and I thought that Tomoyo chapter is OVA..i don't know but i always thought of OVA's that they are out of the story line..thats why tomoyo chapter was really weird for me..

Perhaps there is something wrong here.
There are only 24 chapters. The Chapter of sakagami tomoyo is the 24th chapter which is in the 8th dvd.

I see your details clears up a lots of things then.
Nevertheless I do not want Clannad(Anime) to end with any of Nagisa,Ushio or Tomoya being dead,which is why I constantly refuse to peoples who said the movie is the "real ending".

Actually, it's just a part of the first turn of the "after story", the first turn doesn't stop until ushio has died. The first turn is considered as the beginning of the all CLANNAD stories by somebodies. Without the first turn, we will never see the stories which we have seen in the "new game". If you doesn't seen the first turn, you will just think the final ture ending is a normal one which can't touch you too much, but how difficult has been overcome before...
"after story" must has three turns to reach the true ending at least. All the stories in the CLANNAD can be seen as the stories in the different worlds(with the same characters, but with different chances).

BTW, I consider the movie is a doujin version. There are some better ends with the characters in it. Nagisa has died which also make me sad, however, I think it just a way to try to touch the audience. Let's take it into account that CLANNAD is too hard to be revised into 90mins, so the movie successes in its own way.

I really hate the endings, there is too much, they should make one good one and stick with it. the first ending i find not good at all, then they came out with new ending that still wasnt that good, and now season 2 comes out that picks up in the middle of the first season.
