What do you think Naruto can do to surpass Sasuke

a long time ago (more than one and a half year ago) and Naruto is already strong enough to be on par with Sasuke, most likely even stronger. The real question now however, is when their inevitable duel will be. So further discussion in this thread is actually pointless.

I think Naruto has the edge, because with the Kyubi under control he can cancel any genjutsu (That was what Killerbee Said atleast If I remember correctly) He have Sage mode - Rasengan shurikin. And he isn't that stupid ninja he used to be.

Naruto can learn the technique that made his father so great, the yellow flash. It was a move that could finish armies of ninja in an instant and made him one of the most powerful ninja in the history of the show.

I totally think Naruto will surpass Sasuke, the abilities he has now are only gonna be the beginning. With the help of Yondaime and Itachi he can overpower even Madara.

SURE! He must! I don't know if I prefer Sasuke or Naruto...but... maybe 4 the will and such a determination....Naruto...
but I've always liked Sasuke!(Liked..not LOVED , liked only in the sense that I'd kinda nice feelings towards him...my fav characs are WELLLL OTHERSSSS)

As of this point in the Manga, its tough. I'd have to give Sasuke the edge simply because of the imba powers he got from Itachi + his speed + his curse seal + his sharingan. Then again, Naruto sage mode handled Pain and saved Konoha. Edge goes to Sasuke because I don't know if Naruto can handle a high level Genjutsu tech yet.

Well, naruto? i doubt it. first of aall. naruto mostly relies on the kyuubis chakra/power. everytime he gets stronger so is sasuke. but since he's the hero of the story. haha. for sure he'll beat sasuke in the future episodes/volumes. XD

No, Naruto has barely learned how to avoid Genjutsus, and not very good as you could witnessed. If he got caught in Sasuke acquired Susano he would be toast along with his Hermit mode Sage techniques...

I think Naruto already
surpass Sasuke in a number of ways.
Through combat, even though Susano will aid Sasuke
greatly but Naruto still have a number of tricks up his sleeve.
Plus Naruto can still summon toad! Such as boss-gama and
Gamakichi, I think Sasuke can no longer summon any snake
that is as powerful as boss-gama.
Plus the nine-tailed fox is still on Naruto side, and
it's only depend on time when Naruto will be no longer
need to depend on the fox charkara!

Naruto surpassed sauske along time ago it was easy to tell if sasuke had not had the sharigan he would of never even been able to be in narutos lvl after the firts mission team 7 did when they faced the the hiden mist nins hell didnt sasuke technically die during that mission

I agree with zanaitoryoushi.

Naruto's much stronger now, his will power is really endless. Sasuke's powers are actually Itachi's so all the credit goes to him. Without them he probably wouldn't have lasted this long, besides, the powers are starting to take a really big toll on him so he might be not able to continue.

Naruto is much stronger than Sasuke that is quite obvious..

The only reason why Sasuke can manage to take the kages head on is that he had a gift from Itachi(remember, the passing of his abilities?). Anyway, without that, I'm quite sure that he can't even manage to give the raikage a good battle.

Well, everybody says that Naruto relies on his kyuubi chakra, i don't think so. Just look at how he beated the pain bodies one by one using natural energy only. Well at the end we saw that the fox got control of him but that is due to him seeing Hinata being pawned(lol!).

But anyway, I say Sasuke is only relying now on his new found powers and that credit goes to Itachi alone, without him, I don't think he would be such a badass with his battle with the kages.

Basic element of the story, the one with evil intent (Sasuke) holds more "ki"/chakra development while the good-nature one (Naruto) has the endless capacity to struggle all odds. whether they both reach their peak or not, it all depends on how concrete their resolutions are.

in terms of this, it's more like a sincere battle between the bond of Naruto and Sasuke while their strength and power no matter how great aren't that significant to the outcome.

Well after reading the latest chapter, it is apparent that neither Sasuke nor Naruto have reached their fullest potential yet, that's simply because they are not fully grown yet.

You cannot expect from adolescent Ninjas to take on fully grown and experienced Kages and fight on par with them. I think those two rivals are approximately 15 or 16 years old, no more. So I wouldn't be surprised to see another time skip, as these kinds of rivalries can go on forever as they are about to reach their fullest potential.

Sasuke new Master, none other than Uchiha Madara himself, will make sure that Sasuke won't be pummeled like in the latest chapter ever again. And he's the one who gave Uchiha Sasuke a reason to take revenge...
