Console or PC? http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ are consoles really better? en-us Tue, 17 Nov 2009 18:54:08 -0500 AnimePaper RSS Generator http://static2.animepaper.net/images/v5/icons/ap-logo-sm.gif animepaper.net http://www.animepaper.net/ Animepaper site syndication ~RedXMaverick http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ I never really got into computer games. I played WoW but even that only lasted me a year. When I think of PC games, I only think of FPS and WoW. To me, Console just has more variety of games. Plus, if games are multiplatform, PC versions usually comes out months later. Tue, 17 Nov 2009 18:54:08 -0500 ~phoenolf http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ I'd prefer both, cause they both special features that distinguish one from another, the consoles has a social feature meaning where anyone can play without cramming next to each other on the pc and fighting just to know who's next, each one has her/his own space.the pc has a programs feature where at some point people who play the game a lot will extract the game from the disc and create a copy and make programs for it. Tue, 17 Nov 2009 07:31:55 -0500 ~KiraYuki http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ This is hard ;o. I would choose both. Console > PC for overall game fun. PC > Console for online MMO's and the fact that emulators and stuff.

I'd rather have a Console if that Console could do what a PC could do. =] Sun, 15 Nov 2009 18:05:19 -0500 ~samms http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ Im a pc gamer but i prefer consoles becaz you dont have to buy different parts to maintain your maximum result for the games.pc is just like expensive girl friend who like gifts alot.some time your rams not enough some time your HDD not enough and some times your GPU is not powerful enough to play games.the ps3 exclusive titles are ultra ultra awesome example uncharted and killzone and final fantasy.why developers dont release exclusive titles in pc becaz there are so many different companies in pc industry for example dell, apple you get my point and the major reason is piracy.becaz pc games are hackable and people can make pirated copies out of it so developers dont release there games on pc.

on the other hand playstation 3 is hack proof and blu-ray disc are not hackable and becaz of that all the profit of the games goes to the developers and Sony.and the plus point is you dont have to buy different parts for console its all in one.but if you have both pc and consoles and your a hardcore gamer like me then man your a lucky guy.but still pc can feed your addiction for gaming like consoles. Sun, 15 Nov 2009 16:06:05 -0500 ~432521 http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ I like using consoles better because of the controllers, I know you can get those for PCs to, but I don't want to spend extra money for them Sun, 15 Nov 2009 05:45:23 -0500 ~TokyoMystify http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ PC is better, but not everyone will have one that will handle the games and not everyone will have the requirements for it so we go for help to the consoles which make life easier for everyone. The fools are the ones that just cant enjoy what they have and complain about every little detail. Fri, 06 Nov 2009 11:37:19 -0500 ~evil-samurai http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ Console can be more relaxing (imo) since its just can have alot less problems pop up then playing a game on the PC.

Some games are best suited to Pc and others to Console (fighting), I dont think thats ever going to change. Tue, 03 Nov 2009 02:58:43 -0500 ~Chaser911 http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ Well yeah they are tasty!
But my wallet won't be able to handle it. Fri, 30 Oct 2009 15:27:10 -0400 ~HOLAAAZZZ http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ Mmm... for videogames I'd suggest Console !! It's much more comfortable !!
Although I like PS3 than XBOX! : P

(VEry TastY Videogames anyway))
Fri, 30 Oct 2009 14:27:13 -0400 ~Chaser911 http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/

SasukeXiin

Personally, I haven't bought a pc game in over 10 years.

HMMM... Same here. NO I bought One only! MDK 2. After that nothing. But for Consoles I bought PS2 "Xenosaga 1,2,3." Xbox360 "Lost Odyssey, Star Ocean Last Hope, Tales of Vesperia" No regrets for me.

*.*But for my wallet It's another story *.* Fri, 30 Oct 2009 05:24:15 -0400 ~SasukeXiin http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ IMO, I prefer consoles. I had some dos games back in the day that wont run on newer pcs. I still play my Snes.

But also, there are games most of which you mentioned fall into this, that belong to specific companies which own the sole rights to it, therefor they will never be on anything than there respective console.

So it's much easier to just own the console and save HDD space for more anime or something.

Personally, I haven't bought a pc game in over 10 years. Fri, 30 Oct 2009 05:07:26 -0400 ~Chaser911 http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ That's IT!
VC is an strategy shooter. So why release it only for one platform. Plus for pc gamers this will be a gift. Since JRPG are usually avoiding PC. Fri, 30 Oct 2009 04:41:53 -0400 ~evera http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ Why not both?

If a game was released cross-platform, I would probably go with PC for FPS and console for any other genre, though. Fri, 30 Oct 2009 00:38:08 -0400 ~Chaser911 http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ Personally I got No idea why they do this! I'm Especially pissed because of VC "Valkyria Chronicle" I got Xbox 360. In the beginning the game was supposed to be released for Xbox but ended up on PS3. I still hope it will come to Xbox! Thu, 29 Oct 2009 17:05:49 -0400 ~Skularis http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ I grew up on consoles, so I will always love them (SNES for life), but I remember first playing PC games and was hooked from then on. Some of my first PC games were Alone in the Dark, Descent, and Warcraft. I also remember going over to a friends house after school and playing Quake, and some of the Quest for Glory games. PC games then offered an amount of freedom that console games didn't.

So for me it's 50/50. Today I play an even amount of console and PC games. Wed, 28 Oct 2009 13:10:58 -0400 ~Arbalestraptor http://www.animepaper.net/forums/rss/61181/ For me its a console. Purely for playability. I'm not a keyboard kind of guy. I like not needing to know 50 different button combos to do simple tasks. Also not needing to install anything or be limited by preloaded hardware is a big plus too. PC's are just too much hassle for me. Tue, 27 Oct 2009 15:19:13 -0400
