I think that Halibel is stronger because the number but Ulquiorra is nearly so if he is got lucky maybe can win her.I hope he can, cause I like Ulquiorra very much ^^

I think that he is like Yukichika and just doesnt use his full power. If he had used his full power always then he would probably be ranked above halibel. and he's also just amazing

I just figure it's all about 'resolve' in Bleach.
Ichigo's resolve seems to grow by the second and with enormous rate..
Wich makes him stronger and it also makes him kill Ulquiorra.
But if he was up against Harribel, who means Inoue no harm, I don't think he would've done so great.

Well I haven't had the impression that Halibel was stronger than Ulquiorra. After several chapters I might have overlooked the fact that Halibel transformed because Ulquiorra's transformation was much more worth to remember, but ... man, Ulquiorra was really a beast against Hollow-Ichigo. He has stretched Ichigo's abilities to the limit. And in the end he even showed interest Orihime's objectives in life etc, etc...

Depends on how you term strength, Halibel's underboobs would win any other fight imo. Ulquiorra says he took regen over power rather, so I consider Halibel better in that case. Its really confusing, but yea, No.1 got beat by a children's game, but I don't even think the numbers make sense anymore? First 1 was the best, then Yammy became No.0 and then even Yammy got thrashed by Ichigo again. They could just all have personalities like Ikkaku and co., "I WON'T SHOW MY SKILLZ UNLESS NOONE'S WATCHING! THEN YOU'LL SEE IT!" Ikkaku got beat at his tower only because he'd rather die than.. fight well and win?
Therefore, they could all be hiding their abilities and even Aizen is misguided in numbering them.

Ichigo vs Aizen,... in his current state? I think it would be hell of early if he cannot even defeat Ulquiorra with his own powers. You have seen how berserk he can become if Ichigo turns into his monstrous hollow form. And even after he defeated Ulquiorra in this form, I mean after he reverted back to his human self Ichigo mentioned to him, "This is not the way I wanted to defeat you." You see Ichigo has ways to go in order to defeat any superior Arrancar in his Vizard form... If there is any other training or wonder that can make him stronger in no time... but now I don't think he would be a match for Aizen unless he turns into his ultimate Hollow form. But Aizen knows the Hollows so well he might exploit Ichigo's weak spot soon enough...

Anyhow it seems I was wrong about the Vizards, Ichigo's current masters. I expected much more from them. I guess that after all, Hirako is no match for Aizen either. but we will see that in the upcoming chapters anyway... as soon as Ichigo finished of Espada 0...

The long and short of it is, in my opinion, Kubo is trying to get rid of all the distractions to bring the finale (ichi-aizen) to the spotlight.
On a seperate note, i think Halibel and Ulquiorra are both strong, but from the way that the fights played out, Ulquiorra was undoubtedly much stronger at his full power. But apparently, all the other inhabitants of Hueco Mundo were oblivious to his second transformation, but i cant remember how Yammy reacted when he first transformed, so Yammy might have known, but why he never said anything is a mystery.

If what Ulqiorra said is true (that he's the only Espada with the second release), then I think he would be the strongest Espada, even above Stark. He's at No. 4 because he never bothered to reveal this power to anyone, even to Aizen. What you can't see, you can't rank.

Then again, this argument might also be valid for the other Espadas, because any of them might have had the second release also. But this we'll never know since all of them are supposedly dead (with the exception of mysterious little Wonderweiss, who might have Espada potential).

I have also made this argument
uliqe second stage is something that non of the other espada have acchived
it seems that even aezin doenst know about it
so we know that uliqe is stronger than people belived but that wont make him the strongest
i am pretty sure he cant be stronger than the 2nd because of his unique ability
but halibel doesnt seem to have anything special

it is not know properly how the espada are given the ranks ( only known that aezins decides them)

I think ulquiorra is weaker, but those numbers in bleach are anoying why bother to put them this isn't speedracer or needforspeed you don't need numbers powers should be hidden.
