Mac or PC

I'm a PC person myself. I mean I like Macs and everything but i'm more comfortable with PC :D

I prefer a thousand times PC, is so much faster and I like to privacid (or whatever it write) sorry my english in bad.. but I prefer PC...

All the Adobe products work so well with with mac. Well I mean it was made for mac. At my multimedia class we use macs, it's convenient, especially since you can see the windows behind the a adobe software which is really useful if you need reference. If there were just as many softwares for macs as their is for PC's I would definitely go for one, unfortunately there isn't. My only complaint is the no-right-clicker ugh my friend told me though that they made one that you can buy separately.

It's a little thing but with the PC the shortcuts looks hideous with the little arrows at the corner and the texts at the bottom. It just makes the desktop look cluttered...
And also ofcourse how PC keeps getting hit by viruses and how Vista layout is no where near as better then XP.

Not sure what version of Photoshop you use, but that hasn't been true for a few years now. I think the PC version having more bugs has more to do with Microsoft than Adobe.

As far as I know, it's still true, although they are released at the same time. The program is still developed on one platform first.

And of course it's Microsoft's OS, not adobe or the hardware that causes the problem. But in the end, the OS is what allows you to USE said hardware as well as the software. I've also used ubuntuu, and it can be pretty buggy as well, although much more stable. Although ubuntuu does not run Adobe software well at all, as it's not originally made for ubuntuu and you need another program to run it.

I use both PC and ubuntu (no money for a MAC). Yes there's a way around everything in windows but I don't have the time to rewrite every driver or use virtual environment to do exactly what windows does.. -_-

I am accustomed to both Macs and PCs and I have to say I like both. I have a Mac right now for school and I absolutely love it, but I also have a dual boot for Windows on it so I can play my games.

It's ultimately up to the designer to create something amazing with the tools they're given. It's not something that's dependent on the operating system. Although I do have to admit, Mac's have a much better aesthetic appeal to them.

The reason macs run Photoshop and Illustrator and the other adobe suite programs better is because they are developed for the mac first and then ported over to the PC
