who's the next Batman Villian?

I think perhaps they should have two villains as they did in Batman Begins. Someone like the Penguin or Riddler as a well known baddie and an outlandish character (as the Joker was) and then a darker, more underworld character for the more dedicated Batman followers. As fullmetal21 suggested, Hush would be a good choice.

There is indeed going to be another batman: they will begin shooting next year. As for the new villians, the Riddler will definitely be in it: there are rumors about the Penguin as well. Last I heard, Johnny Depp was to play the riddler, but still only speculation at this point. Ooh, and Philip Seymour Hoffman was going to be the Penguin. creepy.

Though personally, I think they should do an all new villain alltogether. Deadshot, Black Mask, or even Hush. Bad choices = Clayface, or Killer croc. Too much cheesy cg would be involved *cough* Spiderman 3 *cough*

Joker was totally awesome!! but i think the next batman villian will be either the riddler or catwoman. I kinda hope its the riddler. he is pretty cool and amazing.

Bane would be great, it's a pretty cool character, but catwoman is a pretty good choice...

Well my favorite is catwoman because is so behide the scenes. But she is very Sexy and coming behide the The Dark Knight, it would be a good love interest . Then I love Ivy too.

I think they would make the Penguin look great in an new movie. Like in The Dark Knight, the Joker looked completely different that what we'd seen from Jack Nicholson. I think the Riddler would be neat too. But like someone else said Cat Woman, actually I think that would be the best idea.

Would be nice if the new bad guy is less known, a new character adaptable to the darkness needed for the next movies. Clayface, Bane, Man-Bat, or why not, the League of Assassins.

My brother, whose son likes Batman, believes that the Riddler will be the next villian for the third Batman movie (if it ever gets made), and I actually agreed with him. Although, I have to also agree with Christopher Nolan not wanting to ever put Robin in his Batman movies, since they're still portraying Batman in his solo crime-fighting years.

they need a new love-interest now that Rachel is dead. Catwoman is not only a love-interest, but a villain besides. Two birds with one stone! She's also the most well-known in the Bat harem so it'd just make sense for her to make an appearance.

I think there will be a third film. Nolan likes being in creative control, but he also likes making money. Batman is too successful for him to just walk away, and I doubt Warner would just let him do so. If he's really gung-ho about there not being a Robin, I think the producers and executive heads will give in.

In fact, if the third one does better than the second, I'm sure there will be a fourth. Milk it 'til it's dry!

Edit: Oh, and actually, I don't want it to be Catwoman. :D;; Just saying there's a good chance it will be. Catwoman would be too difficult a character to write, so I'd rather see it not happen. Of course, a good adaption would be a sight for sore eyes, but I won't get my hopes up.

There's not gonna be a next Batman

According to gossip, Batman's director refuses to make a third part when he knew that script-stuff wanted to add a Robin to the movies.

But, if gossip is wrong (I hope so), I'd say that next villain must be darker than joker, and that will be hard to do. Mr Freeze maybe? Or maybe they should consider a less famous but more "darken-able" bad guy

Okay this is weird to talk about superheroes' stuffs in the anime site, but i'm fan in both, so it's too bad.
okay as we know, the guy that played Joker is passed (RIP), and i'm wondering who will be the person to set out and try to destroyed the Dark Knight
my opinion, i think the Riddler is the best choice.
