would you read the manga after watching the anime version?

I would definitely. For me, I believe that if the anime is good, the manga is great. i feel that the manga will be more original and the art will be more detailed and interesitng. i know the anime is not fully done by the manga-ka and thus cannot be potrayed entirely up to the manga-ka as he/she wants it, so it may not be 100% correct. i like to read manga better because then you can go at your own pace at reading.

Definitely, specially if the anime is based in the manga; if it's the other way round, then i wouldn;t be too interested, manga that is based on an anime is not that good... except some few exceptions.

I always make sure to read the manga, beacause you never know what the anime left out or changed

Well. I've actually had already... The first manga I read was after watching the anime -> Rurôni Kenshin
And there are animes I haven't read the manga for example Fullmetal Alchemist, Ebichu, Genshiken or Beck ^^U

But I do prefer to read the manga first... (And when I do... I usually prefer the manga to the anime)

Some animes are different many ways from mangas...
in that case you have to read the manga lol
and i think manga is the original so prefer read them

Hmm...
On some anime series I didn't read the manga after i saw the anime like:
1. Fushigi Yuugi
2. Ceres
3. Full Metal Panic
4. Tsubasa Chronicles
and more..
but!
Some i did read after watching the anime because I loved them soo much!
Like:
1. Fruits Basket
2. CCS
3. cant think of any more but i know theirs a lot more

So to answer your question it all depends how much I like the anime series :)

I'd rather read the manga usually than watch the anime. THe manga just has more essence and the storyline is usally better. The manga storyline usually has a better ending. Sometimes the anime is just left hanging. I hate that. In manga you don't get that at all.

I would read the manga after seeing the anime because it might have different parts, like it might be more joyable or it might be more horrible.i would look and see which parts are different.You never know the manga might be better.

I think it's not stange to read the manga after the anime...
I read the manga too to check for a cotinue and because manga contains many more parts which have not shown in the anime

That really depends on the manga/anime
for example the visions of escaflowne, the manga was totally diffrent (and in my oppinion rubbisch) and the anime was great
but if i had the chance of watching an anime of a manga i liked i would allways try it out
and if you read a manga after watching the anime you can often find out things you did not understand or that weren´t in the anime in the first place
another good example is chrno crusade, I watched the anime and later found out that i like the manga even more ^^

Yup of course..i also read the manga 1st...the manga one really show the talent of the drawer.one good example is OH GREAT!.his animes not so nice ler..not his only.nearly all.after convert to animes,the colours,the feelings,become not so nice ler.but got an advantage.animes move.haha.i enjoy manga's arts.another reason is sometimes the stories will b different

Sure, why not? Sometimes the manga is different from the anime, a la Full Metal Alchemist. Sometimes, I just want to see the manga artist's point of view and how the anime drew certain scenes or vice versa. If the anime was medicore, then I would download to see if the manga was any different. I don't know if I'd download the anime if the manga was a piece of junk, though.

It's all about more views on the same storyline or even a different view on a storyline, characters, and gimmicks.

Perfect example!

I read the manga first, for that exact reason. FMA the anime, went off and did it's on thing. It was still just as good as the manga was. It's just a personal preference.

Yup yup...of course i would read the manga and watch the anime of the same title!! it i very interesting to see what is differrent from the manga to the anime! :)
