hahaha, thanks. :) the important thing is love your works.

Because through that no matter what anyone else will say, you know that its in your own standards and that you wouldn't be discouraged despite what everyone else says. And the most important thing is have fun with what you do. :) Walling is a talent and should be used wisely. Just wall simply because that is what you want to do and not because you want to prove anything to anyone. :) There, so I guess those ae my last tips. XD

Hey, not one but two really constructive comments after each other. I'm shocked :)
I agree with you on the colors. Though at first, that problem was a whole lot bigger in the wall. I spent a lot of time trying to make the colors fit by using photo-filters and by playing with the contrast and levels. The fact that you still like it means that I at least succeded in saving the wall from the real color-problem I faced in the beginning XD

Anyway, thanks for the constructive comment.

Well, it's better than I can do. ^^; About the extent of my skills is a simple PS styles bg and some text. Signatures are my limit. I've taken one basic art class and now I think I know what the hell I'm talking about. :P

All I know is that fiddleing with the program is the best way to improve.

Woah, I must say that I'm positively surprised at getting such a constructive comment. Though I'd just like to answer on two of the complaints you had. First: I thought that I said it in my description, but I'll say it again: the original scan was not large enough. That's why I decided to merge it with the scan to make it look like something whole. I was not sure how to fix the quality of the scan also, so I used the smudge tool to make the colors of the scan look proper. I really wanted it to look sharp but that was just not possible with the quality of the scan. Second: About the text. It's not supposed to leave shadows of any sort. The point is that the GPS-function is only supposed to show up for the ones who had Wired-implants in their eyes. The text is not actually there, hence it has no shadows. The blue-ish tone and blur is there to make shine more.

Well, I'm still glad I got a good response such as yours. It means a whole lot more than 100 "THIS IS COOL!"-comments. Thanks.

hehe, I try to do the best I can without going to just a simple, "I don't like this this this.." and leaves you hanging there, worse if "IT SUCKS..." without even prescribing a hint of atleast what to do. XD I walled before but due to the lack of time these days, I decided its quits, but since I still love wallpapers, I just dedicate my time critiquing and giving out comments, dishing both good and bad, hopefully the good outweighing it all in all. Don't worry your work wasn't THAT bad. Infact, the concept, as I've said earlier is good. I guess I can suggest Sharpen Edges and SmartBlur for the scan's quality, I guess that would help. If you're the techie type, then vector it lolz. Eitherway, I'm glad you took the critique well and more power. ;)

It seemes though that most members never write constructive or negative comments here at AP. I find it a bit sad :\

lol i've been busy at work, but i'll be back on my feet soon enough :P

i usually tell people what i think of their work. i always try and say one nice thing and one critism(sp?) on every wall i comment on, though lately i haven't been commenting as much as i used to. haha, until about a month ago i was a perminent resident of session zero ;)

i kinda think it's our job to tell people what we think (within reason ;p) if we want quality wps to keep being produced :)

I'm glad you didn't take my negative comment offensively. If stock photos and anime screenshots were not an option, perhaps you could have drawn in on plain white paper.

Thanks a lot for that comment. It certenly was uplifting since the response to that particular wallpaper often is negative (not here on AP though).
