Cool, definitely, I'd love to help.

Definitely take your time to work on it, especially the background. Nowadays most submissions with vectors look exactly like the original scan, only with better quality. I'd like to see some vector walls with some awesome design skills from you... You've only been observing for 3 years! XD

Oups, sorry I forgot ^^" So much happen at the same time. I have trouble to remember everything ^^" For Inkscape, I recommend you to go through this website which somehow an illustrated manual for Inkscape. Now and then, I browse it when I forgot something. Well, every little tricks are not in it but it give you a good overview of Inkscape. Also feel free to not read all the manual. Anyway, the most important aspect of Inkscape is the bezier curve tool. Once you master it, you have the power of Inkscape in your hand ^^ Feel free to ask me anything about Inkscape, I will gladly answer your questions ^^
