Well, i'm thinking about emailing them for compensation but i don't know how they'll respond. i'm still kinda nervous about contacting them so i haven't done it yet.

*gives a pat on the back* Don't worry too much =D You have nothing to be afraid of, since they were the ones who violated the laws first. For starters, you might try emailing them to see how they respond. If they ignore you or try to shrug it off, you might consider consulting someone from your nearest lawyer firm and ask for their opinion, since this involves a company from another country. *I'm not an expert in things like this o_O*

But heck, you spent so much time and effort in making this wallpaper, and the company just ripped it for commercial purposes for half a DVD series I paid my monthly pocket money for D= They should definitely compensate you. At least, that's what I think~ *waves pompom*

P.S: Have you stopped making wallpapers? Your last one was 7 months ago ^_^

Depends >_<" If you are the forgiving, optimistic type, you might opt to be happy that the company consider your art beautiful enough to be featured on a DVD cover. But from what little I know of the laws, yea, it's definitely plagiarising or violation o_O

If you have been to M'sia before, you might come across a lot of pirated stuff, especially DVDs which have the original label on it =.=" I can hardly tell the difference between the real or fake labels, since they worked hard making them look authentic D:

P.S: If you don't mind, I would like to know what you are going to do =) Sue them, claim your royalty fees or just let them go?

I will do that ^_^ But do you mind waiting for two weeks, because I'm studying right now, away from my hometown and I left the DVD at home. After double-checking though, and since you said that it wasn't a commission, I'm positive that your art has been ripped for commercial purposes >_>
