oh! i got my yr12 jumper/jacket yesterday! do you have those? they're school jumpers with all the yr 12's names on the back and usually your name on the front. i decided not to get my name on the front... our's is a jacket really... not jumper... they're kool!!

as per usual, chem was a bit disappointing, but woteva. its done and dusted!

i have tried writing a movie file to a disk but wasnt able to because it was too large and i'm not sure how to cut it short.

hey! have you seen the beijing olympic mv? its called 'welcome to beijing'. its good! i really like it! jackie chan's in it! lmao i dunno why but, i feel so proud of beijing holding the olympics this yr ... even though i'm only part chinese... and then when i think about miss universe being held in vietnam... lol...

yes. the files work on my computer. they're avi files. the problem is, i dont know how to get them onto a disk...

yes... i'v been d/lding anime torrents but havent had the time to watch them. and now i'm running out of memory space and my computer's slowing down. what's more, my computer has a habit of crashing every two-three hrs and i'm afraid of losing all my data, so i want to clear the memory as much as possible.
so i want to get those torrents onto a disk. i'd thought just dragging them onto a dvd might work...=-= didnt. i've tried nero too...7 files fitted onto one dvd, took me 2 1/2 hrs and only 1 file got on... the others didnt work. i dunno what else to do T_T

so yeah... nothing to really look forward to or to study hard for except to hope that i get into a good uni course. lol

MSN? bleh, I hardly log in (or even participate in forum) cuz I REALLY don't feel like it. If I do things on the net, I do them cuz I feel like it. Though I was quite the chatterbox, but now I feel kind of empty toward MSN .

Besides, I honestly can not give you specifics about width and high (are they in pixel? O,o') for the illiterate I am when it comes to HTML (dude! you're embarrassing me! >,<). I'm merely an opportunist who have a few ideas V__V.

Something I like about my current UP is that the ... um, symbols (lack of better word) you use makes sense (like the ones that expresses that I'm being watched or I'm watching somebody). Thus shows you have a clear and logical imagination (so that what Oxford does to people '__'). So I don't want to throw every little thing that crosses my opportunist head at you for you are more than capable of handling things.

Heh, I didn't like the horizontal scrolling myself, but why not try and use it somewhere on the UP? like scrolling between wallpapers. I don't know if this possible or not, but if it was and you liked the idea, I think you somehow should make it clear that we're able to scroll horizontally since it's not common here in AP.

Vivid colors? nice. It also would be a nice change from your calm colors, but here's a suggestion. How about using light, warm colors on the background and breaking this calmness with vivid or loud colors (i.e rainbows, random retro shapes)?
Using paper texture wouldn't hurt as well, would it? *grins* ^______^.

Can I ask for a personal favor? Can you integrate some of Yoshitaka Amano's work into the CSS? I think his work is rather artsy and timeless (and if you look closely, you can find some retro-friendly material). That would make my opportunist self very happy V__V.

Well, if it looked cool and wasn't a hassle to use, then it's all good and well. Would also be different than the others *suddenly grins*.

I kinda felt that retro would be your first choice.

Are you doing to integrate a character in the style sheet? and what colors do plan on using? would also like to know if anything else is in your mind for the CSS.

Here's how it works. You choose a major (and a minor, depending on the university), study for 4 years (of course you can shorten this period of time by taking some life-sucking summer classes), and end up with a Bachelors degree. Study for another year (plus few months, I think) and you get a Masters degree. Then, as you said/typed, the crazies go on to do the PhD lol.

I understand. Here's some visual aid to explain what I think looks retro and funky. Retro designs basically means old school. It's some certain items that screams old school, like rainbows, audio and video cassettes, semi-old or pure old devices, large dots etc. Your CSS I'm currently using has a retro feel to it, actually. Like the font you chose along with the big dots at the upper part.

Funky may not be the best word to explain what I had in mind, sleek or stylish are more like it. I'm not saying that retro can't be stylish, but perhaps you'd like to focus on something a bit more simple and current.
