i didn't plan on having so many layers. originally, there were three shades of gray plus the black. the black included the black parts of kanda as well as the outlines. (this didn't concern me at first because i intended to make a design wall.) when i showed the WIP to a friend, it was recommended that i get rid of such large areas of black. because of the aforementioned problem about the black areas and the outlines being connected, i took what i thought would be the easier route -- add in more layers of gray to reduce the area occupied by black. xD; so my fault. but preference for the amount of detail in a vector varies from wall to wall and person to person, so i don't mind the outcome much. don't get me wrong though: i respect your opinion and appreciate your honesty. :D
