It's actually very very very good and I'd highly recommend it, lol. In two days I've watched 17 episodes, 7 episodes in I rated it a 9, and 9 episodes in I gave it a 10, lol. It's a VERY engaging story and has a great flow and balance of emotions as well. Mon, 23 Nov 2009 00:28:45 -0500 ~Nymphetamine2791 http://Nymphetamine2791.animepaper.net Indeed I did, I only have 287 more episodes to go till I hit 300! Haha Sun, 22 Nov 2009 16:44:27 -0500 ~Nymphetamine2791 http://Nymphetamine2791.animepaper.net "Subs, 90% of the anime I watch is subbed." Sat, 21 Nov 2009 19:40:30 -0500 `asa01 http://asa01.animepaper.net

akihikosama

Whoa, the hair and eyes have enough to fill most of the free space. XD If its no secret, what % range did you use for your fill/opacity on the layers?

lol yeah i know. :P as for fill/opacity %...it really depends on what the layer is. some layers are like way down there, 10%; others, such as the independent strands, are at 100%. i don't have a formula for how i do things; i just eyeball it for each and every vector i make. Maybe not up to the "Everyone gives it a 10" exaggerated good kind, but it has a good story, and a hella good ending. Sat, 21 Nov 2009 01:21:56 -0500 ~Nymphetamine2791 http://Nymphetamine2791.animepaper.net Sorry for the late response aki, I've been busy with exams and my boxing club. I almost always use torrents, like 95% of the time. So it's safe to assume that all anime I get is torrent based unless I say otherwise, lol. Wed, 18 Nov 2009 22:30:12 -0500 `asa01 http://asa01.animepaper.net Hey~ thank you for the comment and fav on Resolution. 8] number of shape layers? for only the character and counting only the ones in current use, i would say it's in the 400s. it's not a lot i guess if i think about some others' stats. but i bet very few would look like this. this is basically what happens when you outline all of my preliminary vector's shapes (that is, not counting additional effects and fixes). >D Wed, 18 Nov 2009 21:31:31 -0500 ~ala21ddin21 http://ala21ddin21.animepaper.net
It was me, I just deleted it because I didn't like it very much, here is it if you to see it :

Tue, 17 Nov 2009 02:17:53 -0500 `Nysha http://Nysha.animepaper.net I pretty much only use gradients for lighting effects - I tend to paint in everything else on my walls. Mon, 16 Nov 2009 20:51:44 -0500 `Nysha http://Nysha.animepaper.net Naw, I don't use illustrator very often. I shade with the airbrush in photoshop. :) Mon, 16 Nov 2009 20:41:40 -0500 ~ala21ddin21 http://ala21ddin21.animepaper.net Nice entry akihikosama!I really like it ^^ Mon, 16 Nov 2009 06:03:43 -0500 `Nysha http://Nysha.animepaper.net He's told me vaguely, but I still haven't figured it out in illustrator. If you take a look at his paths screenshot you'll see these weird lines/curves that seem to be out in the middle of nowhere - well those are how he does his gradients. He somehow applies them on a line(s) and masks them to the shape/area he wants. I have no idea how to apply a gradient along a single pen path though. XO The closest I've gotten is to use the blend option between two stroked lines of different colors - doing so will make a nice gradient between the two lines. However this doesn't sound like Deto's technique to me. Mon, 16 Nov 2009 01:35:05 -0500 ~Nymphetamine2791 http://Nymphetamine2791.animepaper.net There isn't a sub group name attached to the files I downloaded but I believe the translating group is called Amateras if that helps. Sat, 14 Nov 2009 19:59:43 -0500 `Nysha http://Nysha.animepaper.net Thx. :3 Sat, 14 Nov 2009 01:17:50 -0500 `Nysha http://Nysha.animepaper.net More like too busy... DX I have midterms and deadlines and such. I'd feel too guilty to work on my wall. T__T Sat, 14 Nov 2009 00:45:57 -0500
