Well...the types of work I do makes quite hard to do WS.When a Close up of face is intended the BG needs to be limited to keep the focus on the character.That means less of BG visible the better and less distracting and also you cant make that BG complicated so that it wouldnt become a distraction.hence this becomes really hard on WS since the BG is alot wider and lots of empty space.If you want to fill the BG so that it doesnt feel empty then the BG actually is alot wider that the width of character so in a way it overcomes the caharcter and if you dont dont fill it then lots of unnecessary space which is a weakness for a good wall !
of course sometimes you can just wrap it up with some gradients and it looks great but that wasnt an option here !
Ah,I got carried Away again but just wanted to say why WS isnt the first option for me in this sort of walls ^^\"

About the eyebrows: it was intentional. It's the same with the eyelashes. If you look at the will of Abyss in the anime, you also get the feeling that the white-grayish tone doesn't work out. It just feels unnatural. I just tried to wall it to the extent where it gives off the same vibe.

Kämpfer is comedy with fan service. And I think it is one of the best comedies in these year. Also I liked mystic, mecha, triller, harrow, psychological. Но всему есть предел. Именно для этого и создаются такие аниме как Kämpfer. Для разгрузки мозга.

Thank you very much for your constructive comment on my wall! I'm flattered that you followed it in SZ, even if you didn't have input then :) I understand what you're saying about the grungy texture, actually! I thought about toning it down, but decided that the original scan contained enough that it wouldn't detract from the paper. If enough people share similar opinion I'll likely upload a revision with the grunge toned down.

I'll keep in mind your advice for my next and future walls as well! Thank you again!
