Hey, long time no see, how have you been?
I'm doing well myself, just got married a few months ago and life is pretty cruisy atm. Still walling, or trying to - lolz! Left my work in December and still looking for another job now. Been a slow frustrating process since I don't know which way I should go in terms of job stuff, but hopefully things start to become clearer soon.

I like your concept, i find it very original. i find the wallpaper a bit empty, but i guess that goes hand in hand with the idea behind the wallpaper. just two things then: first, you want the character to catch the eye, so i suggest you try either making lain bigger, or brighter, or both. second, it's a little too plain just to stick her in the middle like that. think of the rule of thirds, it draws the eye. you'd be amazed at how much positioning has to do with the look of your wallpaper.

To be honest I didn't even know what the "rule of thirds" is, I just googled it XD

The thing with this wallpaper is that it is totally empty, besides the basic idea and since the image is rather small, I find it best having it at the center [if you see my other works, you'll see that I almost never do that :P].

I'll try to make Lain a bit more eye-catching but resizing is out of the question because the purpose of the wallpaper is to have lot's of icon space :)

Geez thought you'd never come back, but if you were just busy with your studies that's understandable :)

I should be busy too and should really work towards organising my wedding more, but of course being a procratinator I'm actually here more active than ever before - lol!

Yeah it's a popularity battle between Spike and the ship but since the challenge was about 'futuristic' theme, the ship has to win :)

anyway, just saying i'll be semi-inactive for the summer, i'll be spending this time with my grandparents at their house, and i have a hard time getting net access there, usually.
