No offence but i think the quality of the scan and the bg is not very good.

normally Carnelian scans are quite high quality, thats why they are so sought after.
anyways, great work.

Don't worry, there's no offence :-)
The blurry thing is done on purpose because of the meaning of illusion; an illusion is never well defined -> blurry & alteration with fog & ...
