Hi! It's good you're still thinking of doing the second version, but don't let it stress you too much.. It's more important to do it at your own pace (it's not like the original is awful... it's actually great xD)
I hope I'll try vectoring a monochrome scan one day, but now I don't feel up to it... The shading scares me the most, I'm really bad at putting things that weren't originally in the image :<

Thanks for your comment/fave on my most recent wallpaper, too. Yup, that was my first time painting...I'm attempting to do another painted (and vectored) wallpaper, but it isn't going so well...rather, the character vectoring isn't. XD I'm not one for vectoring. ~__~ But I didn't want to totally paint her either...didn't seem to fit. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING. D;

Whee~ I love Saiunkoku too, and my fave is Kouyuu < 3 (hence the request xD)

I like the anime style art of Saiunkoku better, but most of the scans look kinda flat o_O so maybe the manga style art will look more gorgeous in a wallpaper >3

Awww, don't gnaw your arm off. That would make it a lot harder for us to do collabs in the future. XD And no problem, I was just giving you heck. I'm actually going to be backing up my computer tonight so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to do besides chatting.
