Actually it is hard to say, but while being superior in everything compare to Shining Tears (plot, graphic, gameplay etc..), Shining Wind\'s story is more or less a sequel that followed the bad ending for our character of Shining Tears. So if you play Shining Tears and attach to the character, especially Xion, you will find the truth in Shining Wind...hard to stuff down.

Btw, just a note, the game completely different from the crappy anime. The anime is just a bad combination of two games Shining Tears and Shining Wind with some made-up fact that never actually happen (you will know if you can understand the game Shining Wind in japanese). Shining Tears is prequel, Shining Wind is an alternative sequel to Shining Tears. Ehhh sorry guess say too much, but i am just glad to find someone interest in series that's all.

Well hope you find the game fun, it is bit repetitive in gameplay but the girls make up for that
