Quite nice but i think you should add more detail to the moon and water, we can't distingish all the detail, beside the sky seems to be a little empty, i understand that it is a night background but adding more details wouldn't be a bad thing

Hey... Je vois que tu n'as pas encore soumis ton Gundam wallpaper... Celui sur lequel tu bossais avec le fond étoilé genre galaxie...

C'est dommage parce que le vecteur aurait vraiment donné super avec quelques autres détails et un bon fond...

Enfin si tu as envie de te lancer là dedans je serai ravie de t'aider et te conseiller... Par contre ton nouveau vecteur j'ai pas encore eu vraiment le temps d'y jeter un super coups d'oeil...

Je suis moi-même en train de bosser sur un vecteur de Kakashi... Il avance doucement mais surement parce que je dois redessiner des parties entières qui sont couvertes par des trucs ou bien simplement manquantes! :D Je m'amuse! ^^

Je le présenterai dans la Session Zero dès que possible... J'ai pas envie de mettre un vector en progrès là bas... Mais si tu veux le voir n'hésite pas à me le demander ;)

Not sure what you mean - use the pen tool and draw black shapes to make the lines. These shapes make the "lineart".

Or draw big black shapes (ie go right around the outline of the character) then draw coloured shapes on top of that to show things like the colour of the legs. The gaps between the two shapes will form the "lineart".

You have to think in terms of hundres of shape layers stacked on top of one another for good vectoring.

This was the tut that taught me all the various technique of vectoring - http://www.heathrowe.com/tuts/vector.asp . The bit you're most interested in is overlapping the various shapes.

When I do vectors, I use shape layers.

Instead of thinkign in terms of drawing a single thickness line, think in terms of creating overlapping shapes that build up what you want.

As a very simple example - if you want to draw a white circle with a black outline, you could draw the circle shape in white and then use stroke to outline it in black. This will give a perfectly uniform outline and is easy, but it will also be sterile and boring.

Alternatively, you could draw two circles - the first in black, then one inside that in white which is slightly smaller. Now obviously, you could try to line them up so that the black that is still visible is perfectly unifrom, but also you could make things that are visually mor einterestign by off-setting the two circles slightly.

Alternatively, you could think of each black line as a shape in and of itself - if you then draw all the lines out as shapes you get instant ability to adjust the thickness of those lines. You can then create the colours by drawing in blocks of shapes behind these lines.

Obviously, with a circle, it's not really important, but if you apply these two principles of creating outlines and then drawing colour blocks and other lines and stuff on top of them, you'll see the instant power of using shapes instead of strokes to create more interesting line work.
