Hello all!
I mainly joined this site to find our more about Basilisk and other animes, but I can't seem to find a topic for basilisk! Sorry, but you'll find out that I absolutely love this anime!
I've gone thru all the search options etc, but haven't found anything, so will be starting my own topic. Look out for it!

We were mistaken in that when he tried to order tickets "SOLD OUT" doesn't actually mean sold out, apparently.
Yeah they had more tickets but they weren't selling them online. If we had gone to the Convention early, he likely could have gotten tickets. But it didnt say that anywhere, in any FAQ or anything

Basilisk is pretty good -- much better than watching Ninja Scroll imo. It also has a catchy opening song. Hmmm... you should check out a movie called Shinobi if you haven't already since it's based off of Basilisk.

The manga is ok.
I've never seen the anime, so i can say something about the manga. I personally think it's a particular style, and I don't love it.
I like the idea to use real photos for the backgrounds ;)

The cover of the dvd for this anime is good but I haven't what it nor the anime. Maybe its because this anime isn't advertised as mush as other anime so only a few people would notice it? And I thought it was going to be a waste of my money since I never heard of it. I haven't read the manga because I didn't know it existed but now I might check it out.
