I am probably the laziest or just too much insane gfx junkie. I get a new quad core that's nearly bleeding RAM and I just reloaded my graphics programs (some, anyway) last night. As soon as I am freed from the oppression of college papers and exams, I'm gonna delve into my first full-scale 3d project (from scratch/3ds max). My primary choice is modeling Allen Walker and eventually the Crowned Clown.
Now why am I telling anyone this useless future plan? It's why I came here. Tired of MT's ridiculous load times, I wandered here. At first I figured I wouldn't mess with the forums but I read the paper system and decided to at least look around.
Then you, oh you blessed things, you nearly mandated spell-checking. Such places are gems!
Oh, I don't really do the personal info stuff, so I'm a person in a place. I like 2d, 3d, and looking to eventually get involved in some animation.

I am not much of a PC person so I didn't understand the first part,anyway welcome to AP,where everyone uses the internet to search for some anime spoilers,have fun checking out the wallpapers and the forums,don't forget to read the FAQ section if you have any questions if that didn't help then ask a fellow member.

I know the staff have every right to implement the massively annoying 'paper' system, and it seems to to have got them a lot of exclusive content. But it's also my right to hate their guts for it, and it's the sort of compelled contribution system that really ends up rubbing me the wrong way.
I get the feeling I'll be banned from this site in about a week.

Lillymon, nobody is forcing you to come here if you don't like it. AP is a sharing community that, with the Paper-system, makes sure everyone can share their thoughts and works. Whether it's fun talk, wallpapers, scans or comments. If you only want to be a taker, then you're more than welcome to f*** off.
I'm glad Carboncold is enthusiastic about AP. I know exactly what you mean by the slow loading times of MT, lol, that's why I'm here as well. With your passion for hardware, make sure you check out the Motherboard section of the forums. And of course feel free to join discussions in other sections and groups.
Also, if you ever feel like talking about hardware or 3D on a more personal level, I think I'm your guy for that. I'm very much into hardware and study to become a 3D animator, so if you need any help or advise, don't be affraid to ask!

Lillymon: if you think like that, do us all a favor and get off this site. Nobody will cry after you. I just readed a other comment from you, and would be interested where you taked the "wallpapers cost 25 papers". Please read the FAQ and use some common sense before bragging. Only scans cost papers which are material for wallers, wallpapers are free. Also invading topics of other members is kinda lame.
Carboncold: I'm also glad tha Carbon is serious about the site, and would like to welcome him, even when a bit late ;3 And yes, MT seems to have serious server problems [strike]sometimes[/strike] often. Enjoy your stay, mate.

If there's a way to give papers, I have a few hundred that I probably won't need. They're a semi-tight knit clique but they're really very friendly and the talent here is beyond awesome. I hope you do stay - from what I've seen of your posts you're highly sarcastic and intelligent. I'd like to be your friend! /creepy carebear face.

@GoldenApe: I acknowledged the paper system has obvious advantages, I just don't like it. There are many things I don't like but have no power over. I prefer to let people know exactly where they stand in my eyes though, I consider it to be the polite thing to do. Others tend to see it differently, but what would you prefer? That I praise a system I secretly despise? That's just an insult.
@akiranyo: I used the wrong term, whatever. I was talking about scans, I should've taken more time to think about the correct term to use. I don't really consider this to be an invasion either, more a clever contrasting.
@carboncold: I figure I'll find a way to get the papers I need sooner or later, it's just a matter of patience now, which I can do if I try. So I guess I will stick around knowing my style of writing will find an audience.

Right, now we're talking, Lillymon. I'm not at all objecting your criticism towards 'the system', it's just that your initial post featured only slurs like "I hate this, this is bad, I have the right to think it's bad, ban me if you disagree". Sure it's the most direct way to express your opinion, but without providing your reasons, it just sounds random and stupid. Would be the same if I were to call you a Pink Penguin and then tell you to stop talking to me when you want to know why the hell I would say such thing. Discussion doesn't work that way (unless you're Eric Cartman, but you're not :P). For the record though: yes I do prefer honesty... but please be reasonable. With that said: you as well, welcome to AP!
@Carboncold: lol, I wouldn't have thought you were a female either. I guess there just aren't many girls that know their hardware and are into 3D :D. So talking about internet crushes, I just might develop one too now |(C_C)|

Mt has been failing for me too recently. D8 I can no longer successfully dl things for example.
