Anime and Manga

Yeah, I saw Mai Hime. I'm not much of a mecha fan but I really enjoyed this one. I thought at first it was going to be one of those girl hero stuff but once I got up to episode... nine or ten, things started to pick up and got really interesting. The storyline in the end was dark and very dramatic (maybe too dramatic at such a high pace). The ending was alright and overall, I recommend this anime to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Yeah, there's supposed to be a second season, involving the girl shown for a split second at the end of the final episode (supposedly...). I don't think there should be a second season with the Hime star being... you know...

But that one secret society is still there...

I watched the whole series, and read all the rants and raves about how awesomely awesome it is, but personally for me it was only above average. It seemed like for the beginning half of the series the show wandered around aimlessly before finding a plot point to run with. It came across a bit inconsistent and misleading with the way it switched from a happy story with a few serious undertones to an all out dark drama, and I never got to fully enjoy either side with it presented that way. While in the end everything was tied together nicely, it's not a show I'd find myself catching a repeat viewing.

It's a great series.... but I'm kinda dissappointed with the ending. I mean, I lost lot's of my tears.... so many people dies.. But in the end, they came back alive! Duh.... I honestly regret watching this... Usually I don't mind happy ending, but this one.... Went too far.. Somehow I can't accept it...

This is definitely a worhty anime. The first few eps did not really hook me, but as I kept on watching it got very interesting. Even though the main character/'s may be girls, they were damned hot ones and the anime was made in a way so any gender would enjoy it. Me and my cousins certainly did. The soundtrack by Kajiura Yuki is fantastic.

i liked it. . . the only thing that bothers me about anime is that once i watch the whole series, theres really no point in watching it again, even if its good

Mai Hime! It's my most favorite anime series up to date. Very innovative storyline and cast of characters. I haven't seen an anime series this good for a while. Don't get the wrong idea, there are loads of good anime out there, but if you are looking for a series with a surprising good pack of thrills and all, check out this anime!

And yes, the ending was a little dull in some ways, but it is still a good series overall. I look forward to watching the second season that is in works right now. =^^=

Mai HiME has to be one of my fav anime last season it was really a joy to watch. I personally loved the animation and the characters. They each had a quite a large cast with some really cool and different backgrounds. The plot progressed kind of odd in the beginning but it picked up pretty well and I thoroughly enjoyed the last half of the series. Not to mention Kuga Natsuki has to be one of the hottest and coolest anime babes of all time XD Oh and yes they are making a Mai HiME 2 I have already seen pics of it but it looks kind of dull since from what I have seen the entire cast is made of kids -_- Oh well :P

I loved the show. But the one thing that pissed me off was the way sometimes they quickly resolved intense moments ( like in a middle of a serious situation like a battle or something). Hopefully in the second season they will concentrate more on those moment than just changing them into funny "comic relief" moments. Oh and I hope the second season will also include characters from the first...that would be really really cool.

Mai hime was amazing, The animation and story line was great. I really didnt like how it ended and I've heard rumours about their being a second part to it, and I'd love that to actually happen...Its said that it got liscensed though, no more free downloads. mai and tate forever lol

it was great then at the end it went spastic then came good for the very end, it was worth watching

Certainly is one of the most recommended animes around, the character arts and the storyline and plots are just great, the story isn't really draggy like Naruto and Bleach. I've watched each episodes 3 or more times during the releases, gonna re-watch the whole series again soon... Can't wait for the second season to come out..

the title should be fixed to mai-hime, but anyways, mai-hime was a pretty awesome anime, it got really dramatic in the end, until that classic disney-ending came in.

Somebody said it was not good,because it had a happy end.But I'don't think so.

My HiME is soo kool coz HiMEs haf all these kool weapons(elements) n the child that the HiMES haf a wicked coz they all kik ass me love Mai-chans child thats the best i rekon but it may tear up the island but its still good ^^
