So i was wondering, the version that FOX released on DVD. Does it have the orginal english dub cast? I don't want to buy it and hear dakota fanning, the old english dub i thought was actually good.
i am in contest between my desires and my morals u.u
well, i'm going to shut the computer off for the night and try to get some sleep instead of stressing over it.

humanity is kind of...too stupid and greedy to get their hands on it. Yet i would love to see it flourish and be used for a positive purpose. to completely deny it, or to completely allow it are neither a good option o.o

if you mean the latest verison, it was released by disney, not fox..... and no, the original cast isn't included.... it is dakota fanning as the voice of satsuki.....

Well, according to the information in the Best Buy exclusive publication of Animerican Volume 2, My Neighbor Totoro appears on DVD from Bueno Vista/Walt Disney home video on March 7th, just a few short weeks away. It's going to feature a 2-Disk DVD and includes an All-New English Language track. I'm definately awaiting for this release as I've never seen this film before and I've seen every one of the Miyazaki films except for "The Cat Returns" and the non-Miyazaki films. I'm also anticipating the Howls Moving Castle as well as being that I've never seen that movie either. They both get released on March 7th on Region 1 DVD.

I'm glad that the Disney release will actually be restoring the cuts that FOX made on their release of the movie.

yes... i can't wait either.... i'll definitely buy that.... i am a fan of miyazaki and non miyazaki works too.... ^^

Wow, I didn't even know anything was cut out of the original English release. That makes me want to see the new release very badly. Man, though, aren't there any girls out there other than Dakota Fanning? It seems like every little girl role in every movie is played by her.
Oh well, I'm still excited.
