That's a difficult one. It certainly changed the way I think... and most of the things I talk about. Actually my sister told me yesterday that she didn't think I was capable of holding a proper conversation without bringing anime into it. So not true. XD But it's changed a lot of the stuff I spend my money on. Actually I rarely spent my money before I found the joy in buying anime and manga XDD I did start drinking green tea after watching anime, but I think it was more the experience of going to japan that made me capable of using chopsticks then actually watching anime. But watching anime did give me this sudden urge to eat everything with chopsticks one day with my friend. XD Needless to say, we found eating icecream extremely difficult.

Animate are for me a passion which I like to look at. I looked at much of it, as for the great majority among us. But in spite of the great number that I could see, that my influenced at all in my life. Japanese animation is for a leisure which I like to practise.

Not really. I don't find anime all that addictive and it doesn't affect me in my lifestyle. About the only way it affects is through my imagination =]. Anime tends to give me lots of more ideas in things like creative writing XD.

Yep, but not much tho. It made me outgrow all the kiddyish cartoons I use to watch all the time, then as I found out ya know how interesting anime could've been, i knew i should've started watching earlier even tho im pretty sure for a person like me who's started luving anime since 2nd grade. I've actually found a new passion for great animation such as anime ^^, yet i still do watch kiddyish cartoons for entertainment when im REALLY bored.

With all the chopsticks and tea thing...lol i've already inherited that since im asian. but yea, i can see what u mean.

While I thoroughly enjoy anime, and have spent quite a bit of money on this hobby over the past decade, it has not changed my life style really. I take that back, it's changed in terms of I'm always broke lol. Seriously though, it really hasn't. I always liked tea and learning more about other cultures. My passion is cooking, especially cuisine from around the world, so I already had tried Japanese food. The only change it's made for me is I got interested in Sake' due to anime. I love to drink as well as cook but I had never tried Sake' before. I wouldn't call that a lifestyle change though. Just a Friday night drinking change with friends heh. Start with some good microbrews and then out comes my Sake' set. I actually have 2, one for spring/summer and one for fall/winter. Good times.

Well I certainly became a lot poorer! All my money went on anime and manga. Apart from that, I started drinking Japanese beers (thank you Misato Kisaragi!) and Saki!

My lifestyle hasn't changed much, but my life in all has, actually. When I started watching anime around 6 years ago the people in my class where laughing over me because I was "watching children's cartoons". But after I started to use the internet, I found myself new friends and my boyfriend at the moment (we have been together for 3,5 years now). So I can say, that thanks to anime I found the best friends in the world ^^ And most of them like anime as much as me or even more.

About changes in my lifestyle: I prefer chopsticks over fork, I drink alot of tea and I have started to like Japan a lot. I have learned Japanese for a year now. And also...much of my money goes to buy mangas :P

Hmmm, it changed some things. I never used to be so attached to the computer like now (downloading animes, mangas, etc). My way of thinking, imaginate and even attitude changed a bit since then. Y'know, little acts such as drinking green tea(just an example, cuz I already drank it b4 I even got to know animes and stuff). Though, I did not became poorer, or I just think so o_o; Actually, it's because of the animes that I started taking English seriously, writing, singing and acting. Of course, I wish I could push away some habits inherited from them...^^;

I wouldn't say that anime changes my lifestyle so to speak, but I have been (heavily) influenced by it.

I'm pretty sure it's normal, but whenever someone's eating in an anime I have an urge to have ramen.

I tried learning go after reading/watching Hikaru no Go, and I'd like to try shugo soon after seeing on a variety of anime.

After watching Whisper of the Heart I wanted to write my own story, and for some reason, it didn't seem right unless I wrote it in a notebook.

Death Note made me get a sudden interest in criminals. I even started to watch some of the crime-dramas on TV.

The only things that have changed my lifestyle, although I'm not sure by how much, was Tokyo Babylon (manga) and Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. Tokyo Babylon made me seriously think about my actions. Suzumiya made me wonder about the world and people's influence on it.

Anime can change you if you allow it to.

No, it really hasen't affected my life style i watch it more for it's technical elements than anything else and for entertainment but it definitely brings up a lot of thoughts in my mind thats for sure.. it's true that i do think about the anime itself and the characters and all but all it ever really influences is my thinking of the show, or brings up questions. but it never directly influenced me as a person or my lifestyle.

Its definitely changed me, but I don't know exactly how. I kinda feel more creative and knowledgable about life, (note I said feel only) and it's changed my sense of music. I listen to completely Jpop, or chinese songs even though I'm english first language.
