well if i were to order it by which is better Japanese, Chinese (since i can understand it), english (can be good some times which is rare or just pure crap which it is most of the times, check out monsuno for what i mean or beyblade the new gayer one)

Japanese

Nowadays, I watch it in Japanese. I don't know how to explain it, but it's like you watch a foreign film, and you specifically choose to watch that foreign film in it's native language, not the language that your country dubs over it with. Something to do with wanting to keep the originality, the essence of it all. I don't know...heh.... Some other posts here also mention the culture and type of audience that anime is usually catered to, and I think that also plays a large role in wanting to listen to it in Japanese. I'm the type that likes things unchanged, and original. I hate it when a masterpiece is unnecessarily modified.

I much prefer the Japanese with subs than the english dubs any day! Japanese voice actors put so much hard work into each and every word which creates the perfect scenes, and I cannot deny that!

It depends. If I've heard good thing about the English dub or I know (and like) the VAs that are in the dub, I'll happily watch it in English. Usually, preference relies on which you watch first, I think.

Always in japanese. Eng dub make me want to erase the whole world.

Absolutely in japanese!! There are things that can't be traslated (like names or sayings) and so dubs always sucks.

I don't know japanese, but I like watching japanese anime with subtitles

I like watching it in Japanese because I can get a better sense of relationship between characters by their use of honorifics. Plus, I find that English dubs are kind of awkward and doesn't really fit the characters.

Everyone has an opinion on this, I prefer Japanese voice casts. There have been very few English dubs that have been spot on or I have liked. As I told a friend last night, Japanese anime should have Japanese voice actors/ess. However with some media I can not get it that way (Anime News Network).

Either one depending on how good their voice actors are. I've watched a few shows in which the English dubs are superior to their Japanese counterparts. However, I wish they'd give more new actors a chance to shine instead of just relying on the same old voice actors to do main roles.

JAPANESE!!! although I would say its not that bad watching it in English.. but If you really wanna feel the flow and reaction of each character, i'd say go with Japanese with english subtitles....

Before I use to think sub was the only way to watch anime but over the years my opinion of it has completely change. I always give english dub anime a chance and decaide which one I would like to prefer watching.

I ALWAYS watch animes in Japanese with English subs, no matter what. The English-dubbed versions USUALLY sound... weird, just plain weird.

As i dn't know english and japanese so i usually watch it in my own counry language

I've been watching anime for 7 or 8 years now and I have to say it's best for me in **Japanese, **for sure. I don't mind the subtitles so it's all Golden :D But I do notice if I started to watch an anime in english and then in Japanese, I'm like Huh?! they seem so different when there is a change ~hahaha

Japanese is better. I want to hear the original voice all the time. ^^

I watch all foreign works in their original language. I just need the subtitles to understand them lol
