Anime and Manga

Phantomhive, for sure. The history behind the family is questionable and mysterious. I like it when things like that make me keep wondering.

Alois is very... mentally unstable (I'm putting it in a nice way). And Claude reminds me of that shinigami, William xD But I'm willing to watch to see how far everything goes.

I love the new season! I personally think that it's as good, if not better than the first season. I love the initial mystery to the new characters but I kinda hated Alois (which I think we were meant to). I kinda like the little touches as well, like how they change the opening depending on who that episode's story is about. And it's really awesome how the triplet butlers and Hanna are demons as well!

I think the first season had so much potential but it fell short after the eighth episode. Just when I thought that things were getting interesting, like the introductory of the back story, it sidetracks to more boring/monotonous things. I think Ciel and Sebastian were interesting character in the beginning, however their other staff is unbearable to watch and they intern ruin the series for me personally, not to mention some other cast members whose name aren't even worth remembering. Needless to say, I never finished watching the first season and decided to skip to the second one in hopes that it would peek my interest, what whit their false introductory of new characters which now barely has any screen time. I don't know where this show is headed and I think I lose interest with each episode just as I did with the first season.

But if I had to choose between the two, it would be the Phantomhive family simply on the basis that Alois is a nut, a complete nut who clearly hates women and treats his staff like crap. I don't even care to know what happened to him in his past, nothing will ever make me sympathize with his situation, I think he should simply be dragged to the darkest pits of hell rather than get any form of help from there. His butler on the hand is entertaining. I'm not expecting much from this anime so I'll just continuing watching until I'm fed up of it!

definitely phantomhive family. i don't like alois trancy and i hate claude. for me, sebastian is the best butler, and i love ciel very much~~
