ok...dunno if it is ok if i post it here...and hope that i can get some help...
now AP has changed into the new version. before the new version, i can view the whole layout while using any computers in the campus...now, even using my own laptop, what i see is just lines of words.no pictures...just lots of squares here and there..what can i do? is it because of the setting? i have no idea. besides, to open AP around my campus.it is so slow and i can't check out other post in order to find if there are similar solution for this thing...sorry for that.
besides, i've send a pm to someone...and there's no reply. and is there any wallpapers notification in this new version of AP? if there is...than there must be some problems with my account. just ask to make sure if that kind of thing does occur.
ok...about AP...when i'm using it at home...i can't even open the home page. it just show a page that i'm a banned memeber....try manythimes...even with different server...it is still like that! it occurs for months now. how can i solve it. is it because of my pc? ( then, i should throw it away soon...lol)
ok...hope you guys can help me out...thanks a million!

Hi
For your first problem : i think your browser block AP pics .. . Check your settings ... maybe give the name of the browser you use : if firefox check out the tools>options>web settings (or something like that) For your second pb : there is a fonction in the new Ap version (if you mean the friends walls notification ) for it : go to your message center and click on the friends submissions menu (http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/wallpapers/Friends/) and you'll see all the friends submissions but there isnt any notifications anymore For the 3rd pb : i think you temporarely get an IP banned by Ap so you'll have to change it ^^ Hope that helps

Regarding speeds, I'm also having slow surf speeds but I believe that is due to TMNet's. Pages timing out ain't too uncommon for me (most of the time it loads fast though except peak hours) and wallpaper/scan loading is quite a pain to load due to the slowness. I heard that TMNet is experimenting with bandwidth capping (can't confirm this since I only read it in another forum). The moment your download speed hits a certain limit, it pushes you back down to below 5 kilobytes per second (that's what I noticed when downloading via IRC because the moment my download speed spikes up, it drops drastically). That and possibly also due to crappy routing by their network admins I heard.
There's also factoring in the other network users in your campus. Try loggin on at off-peak periods in your campus.
On to the images part, as mentioned, just enable images on Firefox (if that is the browser which you are using). Or try disabling all firewall and security settings to see if it works (then enable the settings one by one to see which settings is responsible for blocking the images).
Point to note. AP's images uses port 8080. If that port is blocked, you won't be able to see any images at all. If the campus network has that port blocked off, nothing much you can do unless the network admins unblock it themselves.
