Well, it is just a suggestion. I wanted to see how a topic post was going to come out before posting it, but I couldn't see the option anywhere.
It can maybe be done on the fly using JavaScript or just doing a AJAX or normal post. However suits the programmers best, but I think it would be a nice addition.
The idea came to me as I wanted to post a quote. However, upon pressing the quote button I get prompted for the user I am referring to and the text I want to quote. I didn't want to quote an user, I wanted to quote a source from another site so it would have been awkward to use the site name as the user (not to mention confusing). Since it seemed "mandatory" to have a user name I wanted to see the outcome of not using it at all, but I saw no "Preview" button, just the good old "Submit" one.

That's actually a good suggestion.
You can just quote without typing in the username though, by typing it in manually like this:
And that's exactly what I did.
In the mean time, you can just post your comments and edit the post to how you see fit.

Yeah. I tried it without quotes and saw it worked fine, but I had my doubts until after I posted it. True I can go edit it if I see any problems, but i don't know, I like to post knowing it will look good on the go :P.
