Love - caring about someone/something so much that you couldn't live your life without them (or at least your life would dramatically change).

Hate - not being able to stand something/someone so much that you don't want to see it, hear about it, or be any where near it.

Yeah, yeah, my definitions suck, but it's hard to put in words. I guess there is a lot of both going around in a teen's life, but I think it's because when you're young, emotions are constantly running, and usually they are quite strong (such as hate, love) because teens don't really know how to control them... I'm not sure if that is right; just my guess.

love - there are several types. i mostly use it to emphasize brotherly love which is love for other human beings. not eros which is the greek word for infatuation which is sexuality. i don't have that type of love for anyone at all.

hate - wishing someone where dead or disliking extremely

Love- Caring for someone, or something more than you care about yourself. Kinda emo I know. But that is how I usually define it.

Hate- Not caring about someone, or something at all.

Two very strong words, honestly, I had trouble thinking of one for 'hate'. Possibly because I don't think it should be used often.

love : an emotion that keeps us human or turns us to animals,one of the strongest feelings ever, it can be the joy of your life or love can also send you to hell an back

hate: where you cant stand the sight,sound,smell or anything,this emotion is also strong and with enough of it it can be lethal,tends to get the human races erge to kill or constrict the being or sounds from there mind

Love and hate are alike. They are the presence of a certain amount of ignorance, and the absence of indifference.

Love - I feel love can have a number of meanings in different contexts. I don't think love has anything to do with having intercoursee with another person though. I think the best way to put it is like this.. I love my family, my dog and my good friends, but I'm in love with my wife. So I think.. loving someone and being in love with someone are two diffrent things.

Hate - Is just an expression of dislike.

Love and hate are overused terms that can mean numerous things, it just depends how and when you use them.

LOVE - something that can make your life feel better (or maybe not....) HATE - something that can make your day sucks....

Well, I think everyone has their own personal definition of Love and Hate.

For me, to love is to care for and cherish something of someone greatly. There are most definately different kinds of love, such as the love you'd have for friends and relatives versus the love you'd feel toward a boyfriend or girlfriend (or spouse). I think to love someone is to conciously decide to give everything you have for that person and so whatever is necessary to them, which I would be willing to do for all of my family, close friends, and my boyfriend. So, I guess, to give yourself completely to someone or something (something being a hobby or talent) would be my shortened definition of Love.

I'm not sure how I feel about Hate. I can hate foods, objects, certain types of creatures (spiders *shudders* I hate them...), but I don't think I've ever felt hate toward a person. I greatly dislike and can't stand being around certain people, but I don't hate them. I guess Hate could be the opposite of Love. To have a complete -lack- of care and feelings for someone or something would be my definition of Hate.

As for me not feeling Hate toward people... I believe in allowing people to redeem themselves. To give a person the benefit of the doubt, so to speak.

love - a strong positive emotion of regard and affection for someone/something. hate - the emotion of hate; a feeling of dislike so strong that it demands action.

some web-definitions that I found... both are some dangerous emotions that can really change someone, both are the strongest emotions i think.

Love: a strong affection you feel towards someone that makes you feel all fuzzy wuzzy inside xP I couldn't think of anything else.

Hate: a strong dislike towards an individual and I love hating BTW~!

I personaly believe that the word "Love" doesnt exist. O.o Well, it does exist but its undefinable. It means different things for differetn people. (I love pie!..... I love *insert name*) See? Totally different things, but they still use the smae word; "Love"

Hate, the strongest negative feeling you can have against someone, I guess.

Love-i really don't know, is it thinking about someone constantly? or is it accepting them for who they are? idon't know

Hate-disliking someone with great intensity....

love...a Feeling That a Human Has When he Meets a Special person which she/he Wants to Deticate his life to....to be With that Special person until the End of time.... hate...a Word i'm Mostly formilierd with....a Feeling that Makes a Person Do things...or Not do things....people who are not used to that Word usually do alot of things.....sometimes Even commit Sucide...the Desire of Revenge....Rage....Fury.... Those Who Understand that Word....in they're own way....Do nothing.....People Who Are closed....Dont Talk to anyone IRL...allways Being Quit....Full of Hatred....Mind no one....being on your own....

Love and hate are alike since they're both a feeling that runs really deep, but love to me is a strong feeling of care and affection for someone or something, where you cant imagine life without that person or thing, but hate is an emotion that just has a negative effect on you, where you cant stand to even be in the prescence of someone or something without wanting to...um i dont no the right word...but hurt them? and just wishing that they never existed

Same stuff. One persons gets on your nevers whenever you see him/her. You want to do stuff to/with him/her.

No big difference if you ask me =) Same angered feelings, just that they take expression in different ways.

To me love is like "LETS GET DOWN AND GET JIGGY WITH IT!!!" yeah that what it meant. :halo:

Love is everywhere and in everything that u do. It depends on your personal definition for the word 'love', u can also say it's an emotion related to the feelings of a human beings towards another human being. But when u do stuffs that u really like, u might say u love to do this or do that. For example, i really like to suf the net, i can say i love surfing the net. So, love is everywhere..........whether it's to a human being or stuffs that u do or even something that makes u happy about it. That's my personal definition for the word "love".

N hate..........a very hurting yet also convincing word which will drive a person to insanity or might as hell....i don't usually use this word, as it has a meaning that can hurt a person deeply. If you hate a person, it means that u really really dislike him/her, that u don't wish, even dream to see him/her again in ur life..........taz my definitions......^-^

Love- Many definitions, one of which is possessing the urge to do anything for someone without any thought or care for your own consequences. Another is the discovery of another soul that can fill your loneliness, to lift you when you're down, to care for you when you no longer have energy to care for yourself.

Hate- A word for an excessive exertion of energy spent thinking about one person, when you'd rather not. It's a useless emotion, one that doesn't do wonders for the body and initiates aggression, which leads to destructive actions, etc. It really is too much of a bother.
