I don't have a problem with ppl who marry a person from the same sex as them....it's their life as I say and it's also their choice... some ppl say that they are born gay some think it's because of influence and others they think that it's because of something else...
So tell me what you think about it....

I have several friends who are gay or bi. I don't see anything wrong with it. I think its really stupid that they put on the ballot here in Michgan (and several other states) whether or not to ban it. The worst part is, it passed. Only because the people here are such idiots they said yes without knowing what they were agreeing to. I myself, said no. I think that people should have the right to marry whom they please regardless of the sexes of each partner.

well I'm pretty sure you're born with the homosexual inclinations... whether or not you're able to openly admit it or tell others is more influencial I think... you could have all straight friends and family and still be gay but if your environment is hostile and unaccepting towards homosexuals then you'll be much less likely to allow yourself to accept it or tell others... as for gay marriage I'm not so sure... on some level I'm sure it's because they want people to accept them and acknowledge they do (or at least should) have the same rights as everything else, and to proclaim their love to the world, etc... but at the same time marriage, at least when you're looking at it from a Catholic perspective (I'm not clear on all the other religions' views on homosexuality), is afterall a Catholic convention... and if their traditional teachings (and supposedly their Holy Bible) claims homosexuals are evil and going to hell and all that... then I think it's their prerogative (not as individuals but as an official singular ruling entity, like the Vatican) to proclaim that the ritual of marriage is reserved for 1 male - 1 female relationships... so I guess what I'm saying is, I think they should have the right to get a marriage certificate or license, but maybe not go so far as to expect to hold a 'traditional' wedding ceremony and have a priest and all that when you know they have stated time and again they don't accept you or your personal life choice

It should not really matter to you who loves who unless they love you... Like you can not deny who people love, even though if it seems wierd to you. I don't really care if gays marry each other but it would be a different situation if one starts to show affection to me.
