ok, i've received an assignments to make a big hiragana chart from my lecturer yesterday...:faint: we need to use computer to type it out since he don not want to see us writing the hiragena with our ugly writing. Anyway, wanna ask you guys here if you know any computer software or programs that can be used to type out hiragana....O.o i've heard that NJ Star ( a chinese program ) have that kind of function but i can't try it out since i can only get my pc next week ( still stuck in campus without a pc...:faint: ) i dunno much about those stuff and dunno where to look for a suitable one... hope you guys can provide some links or sites where the programs can be downloaded if you know any.... hope i can get some help here...thanks a lot..:)

If the computers in the lab have foreign languages installed, which it should, then go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Options. Languages tab > check "Install files for East Asian languages". If this is already there, then click on "Details" button > "Add..." > pick Japanese.
It should work.
However, if none of this is installed then go ahead and download NJStar. You should be ok unless the computers are locked and won't let you download anything to C drive. Then you're screwed. =/

when i installed xp on my computer, i installed the japanese as well. ????? ?きく?? ????そ ?ちつてと なにぬねの はひふへほ まみ????? ?????? ????????? ??? ??

well...thanks a lot for the help...i've installed NJ Star into my pc and it works well for now...i'll try out other methods as well :) anyway, really wanna thank you guys for that :D i'll get my stuff done soon......o.O
