Damn, I posted just befor you editted, so don't pay attention. And a perfect person for me is a person I only want to break into peaces.

i think everybody has its faults no one could ever be perfect! In my opinion you can only be perfect on some aspects in things you are good at you can be perfect :) If i have to organize things(party, meeting) I am a real perfect person everything has to be perfect in that case but i am not perfect at all :neko:

Since there is no right or wrong to this question ( Since none can prove there's an answer) how can anyone claim to have their own opinion about what THEY think is perfect? It sounds a bit weird in my ears. But maybe I've misunderstood something here...

I don't think that exist a perfect person. We are all different and that's wonderful. You said right in your post, angelstorm: there is no right or wrong to this question! And, after all, I think that a perfect person would be boring ^_^

a perfect person doesn't exist and never will. of course we can say that the person that we love, or like is perfect, because we usually just see the good aspects that they have. But it doesn't mean that he/she is really perfect. Anyone will never be like that, because i imagine that "being perfect" is to be inteligent, kind, happy, friendly, etc.. but you can imagine that being perfect is the oposite. Who knows?So, it's hard to say that somebody is perfect. He/She can be for you, but not to everybody.

Its finding an imperfect person perfect.

A human, who can not hate, who stands for peace and freedom, who even loves his enemies, someone just like Jesus, this is "Perfect".

Perfect.....that's an odd sort of concept. But for starters, because we're human, there is no possibility of being perfect. There is never any possibility of being perfect. Never was. Never will be. Everything and evryone is always improving, so there is no way to have any kind of perfection.

The concept of perfection is about as cocievable as the concept of eternity...you think you've about got it and then some retard comes along and blows the whole shibang out of preportion....I like being that person.... =P

Well, I agree that humans are not/cannot/will not ever reach an absolute perfect...but, as a bloody Virgo, I am so anal retentive about some things, that it drives ME crazy!! (Though my room tells a completely different story >_<) I don't know...there are just certain things that drive me crazy if its not spoken, completed, or done to what my standards of "perfect" are in my mind...does that make any sense? I just think everyone has established a standard to which they consider "perfect". The concept of "Perfect" differs from person to person.

Not even God is perfect, for he hiding himself, thus we can not know if he truly is perfect. As beauty is relative, so is perfection. And I'm sure some feminist will anser: If God was perfect, he would be a woman. And if God is everything and nothing's perfect, then perfection would be a mix of every flaw available.

It means: how thw Hell should I know? As a personal, really personal point of view, perfection is a flaw itself.

Perefect is what you kake it really. But the word perfect means flawless. There are no probrems to it. IN other words it doesnt exists.

There is no such thing as perfect. "Perfect" is an illusion, it doesn't exist. It's more of an opinion, which I think is what you're askin. It's really no use asking...=X The list can go on forever.

Example: If you are good at something, and you claim it...you are boasting. When you deny you are good, you are humble AND lying. Lying is not good, therefore you can't be perfect.

Four words: it does not exist. There is no specific parameters for perfection (it all depends upon the person, really).

Somethings can be perfect in this world, somethings can't be perfect. In my opinion a person can't be perfect no matter how hard they try but you can make or draw a perfect sphere.

perfect means flawless. nothing is exactly perfect, at least in this world

Perfection varies in one for or the other. One person can say something is perfect yet defies the standard of the other. God for me is perfect and that's that.

To be perfect you have to be flawless. To be flawless you have to have no flaws. To have no flaws you cannot be a living thing. If you are not a living thing you have no purpose, only usefulness, and so you are wasting your time, which is not perfect. If you are perfect, you cannot change. If everything changes there is no such thing as perfect.

this is in your own opinion there is no right or wrong answer, i'm just curious on how many diferent meanings this word has.

Indeed. When I first read the topic my Catholic upbringing acted up like a radar. It's funny how one's religion plays such a big part in his perception about the world around him. It has become like a routine for me to respond according to my religious beliefs.

BUT...

I refuse to be constrained by my religion. I have always tried to deal with questions as objective as possible. This sounds completely shallow but I think answers like, "It's because of God" "It's part of God's plan" "just... God" kind of ruins the discussion of the question. Because once religion is mentioned, discussion is as good as closed. One cannot argue with religion because it is completely subjective.

So on to the question.. (sheesh... I feel like I'm talking too much) Perfection exists in the mind. I would like to believe that it does exist. But through the process of visualization, analysis and execution, a part of it gets screwed and it turns out imperfect. All of us initially have good intentions but factors surrounding the situation like environment, society or even material objects taint that pure, perfect thought and so it becomes corrupt.

This is my opinion and if it clashes with anyone here, I do not intend to disprove your point. I am only stating mine. ^___^
